As of right now hayakawa isn't covering for them because he's understanding. He has his own agenda, and this show goes beyond what a normal anime would show I would say. I think the next crazy thing is something alot of fans wanna see 🤣 we know from the trailer we'll be getting it, and is t cut. We see this episode denji doesn't waste any food lol. I hope they do show it, because it's good character development. It sounds weird, but makes sense just gotta wait for next week lol😅. Also the gun flesh part, think about some of the scariest things. I don't wanna say more, but the more people that are scared of a devil the stronger it is. Makes sense when you about it, and makes sense for devil hunters to have devil contracts otherwise they wouldn't be able to kill devils.

2023-01-16 01:07:43 Denji is pretty much just trying to get whatever he saw as "winning at life" - with his background, that's having a girlfriend/intimacy...I guess he'll develop new/additional goals as the show progresses. On the plus side, he didn't "go for it" while Power was knocked out; he may be a horny idiot, but he's not ruthless about what he wants. I guess for now, Hayakawa just wanted to get Denji under control & his peace at home back... UNTIL Power a.k.a. "Roommate from Hell" joined & he went back to square 1 One thing I try to keep in mind with Main Characters who are annoying/flawed (types like Denji, Subaru, Rudeus) is that without that there would be not much room for character growth, so there's that
