I don’t think he could sense there were alive. But because he couldn’t transform into them he knew they were alive.

OMG episode 2 also broke me. I had hope with episode 1 and Tonari then they just crush it in episode 2 😭 Let jump into the reaction Hisame One she is brainwash and Two she carries Hayase will since her will was so strong after death that it reincarnated into her body, It’s such a fuck up thing. One one hand she is 9, so she hasn’t done any of the things in the past but on the other hand her will is from Hayase soul. To Your Eternity has a way to create multi-layer villain. The Nokker are kind of one dimensional since we don’t know much about them and their motivation so I’m glad we had humans villain.

I did not expect Tonari to get hit that early. 😫 And up to the last moment I expect Fushi to be able to do something to save her. But I should have known. That is the theme of TYE. Everyone dies. There is no plot armor. I thought the black spot that kept appearing meant something that could save her but I guess not. Fushi really doesn’t know how to make children 😅 I guess he just take their form and doesn’t have any of the natural instinct if we don’t tell him. Well at least he has no money problem since he can produce things at will. It’s been generations since Fushi started to try to find friends.

After the episode. I don’t know what to think of the guardians. They are fighting Nokkers but the leader has a Nokker in her/his arm. And they killed Tonari. They are still afraid of Tonari form. Go to Heaven and/or with Fushi. Is beyond what I can figure out. Someone else has said it. He can’t sense they are dead. He only knows when he can transform into them. He tried Tonari and couldn't so he knew they were alive. I don’t remember if he knew Reina was dead but he could transform into her and realise she was dead and fall in his knee. Maybe I’m interpreting this wrong but that is what I make of it with my bad memory of season 1. Amazing reaction. Thank You and Take Care. 😋
