Yes basically if you encode Twice it may have a slight quality lost. I don't think it's suppose to be that noticeable but since you do well. One solution is to use a transition Codec for OBS output to minimize compression so Filmore has the best quality source for when it encode. The two suggested is DNxHD/DNxHR or ProRes. I used to record into DNxHD to transcode source but it's easily 20GB for half hours. Then encode the final product to H.264 to have a manageable and diffusable files. H.264 is the better codec to use. So the key is to keep huge files to prevent transcode quality lost while working until the final encoding. Where you set a more reasonable diffusion Media. Everyone use h.264 in an MP4.

BTW I'm not sure the format support by obs but it seem ProRes is easier but not sure. Also do test on a Short test vidéo before commiting to a longer reaction.

this episode almost had me jumping off of my seat, then my knee said, not today buddy, sit your ass down 😂 😅 other than blue lock im also in the middle of Kuroko no basket and they don't come close to haikyuu, at least in my opinion. this was a great episode. i was waiting for tsuki to get his time to shine and i wasn't disappointed. finally hooked on volleyball and hopefully we get an awakened stukishima. im just gona go ahead and call it. they are going to win this match.

Ok a very simple explanation is everytime you encode a video you get rid of some information to make the files smaller. So if you do it multiple time (the camera does it the anime source does it and obs does it then the editor does it) you loose more and more information so the quality may suffer. Each time you have a choice between smaller file or higher quality. So they design a compression format that easy on the cpu and try to minimise quality lost. The downside is that the files are still big/huge. But that ok just for to work on editing since we want to keep the maximum information (quality) as long as possible.

Oh by the way an other solution might be to optimize filmora since that may be where the quality degrade. ie even if you have superb quality source material but if filmora is not very good at encoding. 🤷But I don't know enough about settings to advice. So I only try to keep the maximum quality before to give it the best Chance.
