Tokiko knew that her mom is a shadow, and you see shadows killing their original. They take their place, no reason why sou’s mom to be hostile to them. Mother is the one controlling the shadows, and they’re only hostile to ushio’s group who’s actively trying to kill their creator, we also don’t know if killing her will destroy all the shadows. Unless Ushio is willing to sacrifice herself. When we saw sou’s mother it was during the festival where mother was feeding, shadows do copy people exactly so if sou’s mother couldn’t walk it’s possible her shadow would be like that as well. Finally getting their backstory, it’ll definitely shocking lol. Shinpei can’t control his power, and not sure if he’ll ever do. Ushio is definitely an exemption when it comes to going back, Ushio just shared data with hizuru just so they didn’t have to explain everything again. She can now follow shinpei after he dies, so he can’t get the jump on them anymore. It became a lot more harder for them to get an advantage over them, especially with “father” who seems like normal weaknesses shadows have don’t work on him. If Ushio can share memory with other people I would assume mother is able to share memories as well now that she can follow them. I think next episode will create more questions than answers 🤣. The person sou’s father was talking to is an extremely important character if it’s who I think it is lol.

just when i thought things were going to change for the better things get alot worse. now we know what that hand print can do. i wonder if shinpei will have to lose the arm so they can't be tracked. props to ushio for the quick thinking, that four arms shadow would of taken them all out. but holy crap, she went for the head. technically she went for the neck but whatever,  same difference. i wonder if shinpei can now go further back in time because it's not looking good for those that keep dying. this episode was a little boring and it felt like a short episode but we did get some extra info so it wasn't all bad. now i have to get ready to go see thor⚡. see you on the next one✌

[Sou and Tokiko mother] I think it has to do with how much of her has the shadow consciousness and how much has the mother consciousness. I think for Ushio Shadow, Ushio consciousness completely overrides the shadow. In the case of the mom maybe when they create her they let her have most of the mother consciousness. We haven’t met her enough to judge how much of a shashow she is.

[Starting with Shinpai and Ushio looping back] My memory is still fuzzy about the event but right now they just met with the two others so Nezu reaction is normal since they don’t know much about the background. I’m surprised Hizuru was that calm but I guess she could see more of a shadow as a friend. [Shinpei eyes]I really don’t remember if we always have seen Shinpei eyes with two different colors from the beginning. But I think we started the show after Shinpei got his eye. [Memories] Yes I think when they shake hands Ushio gave all the memories to Hizuru. That's practical.

[Ushio]She got her arm back because this is the same shadow that loop with shinpei not an earlier version so she got her arm back when she recopied Ushio corpse in the cave. [Sou mother] I think she looks like a blob when she is in private but maintains her normal form when she meets Sou. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense for Sou not knowing she is a shadow. Maybe it takes less energy when she is a blob. Or maybe it’s for the audience for us to know she is a shadow. [The assistant] The assistant was in the cave last episode. I think she is a normal person that knows perfectly well that they work for the shadow she was preparing the corpse for Haine.

[4 arm at Shiori place] I didn’t expect that but after the fact it make sense. This changes everything if Haine can loop too. So they can’t plan anything based on future knowledge since Haine will loop with them and change everything. [Shinpei dying] You totally miss when Shinpei died 😅 [4 arms] Since he has the same smell as Haine is probably an extension of her. Maybe it is a more independent extension but still her.

[Haine following in the loop] Ushio thinks they have the same chance but Haine seems a lot more powerful and they lost their edge of future knowledge. But I guess they have Ushio as an edge now since she seem to be able to overpower Haine in her weaken state, I guess younger Hizuru has social anxiety. She doesn’t do well in crowds so she wants to leave. [Shinpei parent] I think those are Hizuru memories so I'm not sure she saw how Shinpei parents died so we might not see it.

[At the old clinic] I wouldn't let Hizuru alone in the woods. But I guess Haine wasn’t going to show up when they were still there. [After episode] I think we had a lot of background information here and now Haine can loop with them. I wonder if he can control a bit more when they loop because if they loop after the last point it’s going to be too late. I think in the episode they said it was 14 years in the past. I’m glad you enjoyed Top Gun. I watch it in IMAX and loved it. See you next time Take Care 😋

Hey Hey Hey, I know you already have way too many anime reaction on your plate, but I just watch a new one. Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) is a Vampire romance anime. I really like the first episode. In fact I would prefer this to the Devil is a part timer. But you already have so much reaction to do.
