Pre-episode intro Your analysis of Tsukki (Kai well we call him Tsukki) 😇We will learn more about him. It won't be right away but in future episodes. 😇 That quote about the orchestra. I think Haikyuu has a lot of teaching moments that can be taken into our lives even if we aren’t involved in volleyball. That's why it’s good. Focus on volleyball but so much relatable to not sporty people. Episode start. It happens in a lot of sports. The captain is not necessarily the best, most athletic player, he is just the best leader. Well it can happen that the best leader is the best player also. Yes, the episode where we learn more about Kageyama. 👍 Setting is the act of “tossing” to the proper position for the spiker to strike. Tossing in it itself is just what it means, throwing the ball. Sho and Kageyama are made for each other, well it’s anime so they made the character so compatible. But Sho just wants more. So kageyama can go all in. Sho will ask for more. Well he still has only played 1 match before so skill level need some tweaking he miss the ball 😅 Sho has no experience, no technique. When he tries to hit the ball it changes his movement since he doesn't know how to sync properly. Kageyama just told him go as hard as you can, don't try to adjust and hit the ball. Kageyama is doing all the adjustments since it’s his strength control. For Sho to not adjust at all he close his eyes since he instinctively adjusts when he sees the ball but doesn't have the technique to sync properly. Onto the review part. I think Kageyama made great progress in this episode. The setter job is to adjust to his spiker and not the opposite. You can’t tell the spiker to be better, just a set better balls. Kageyama learns to adjust fully to Sho in this episode. It’s not perfect but it's coming there. The setter job is to make it as easy as possible for the spiker to score. He wasn’t doing it in junior high. 👍 That is a good technique from the anime for the viewers. Since Sho and other people don’t know much about technique. It allows the show to explain and spoon feed us the viewer. It would be strange to explain the very basics to an experienced team. Haikyuu is a lot about character. One unrealistic thing from professional player that react to the show has been telling is during the match you don’t really have time to talk, argue, think about your past, etc. A game usually goes at a good fast paced. It’s an anime so they focus on the characters that's why it’s so relatable to non volleyball viewers. Haikyuu everytime I watch an episode I want to watch one more. Like Sho. You’ll see he said that all the time “Mo Ikai”, once more. That was super fun as usual, Take care. 😋
