Finally here!! Here’s the thing with the attack titan, would everything be set in stone or would the future be changing since it has that ability I wonder how it works. This episode really was zeke getting over his daddy issues lol, he was convinced that his father was still the same and brainwashed Eren as well. Frederica did want to help it’s just the founding Titans will controlling her, grisha did get manipulated by Eren in order to satisfy eren’s goal. It really shows you that even grisha doesn’t want Eren to succeed, and wants zeke to stop him so I wonder what grisha saw from the memories to think like that. The first time grisha found the church where the foundling titan was he turned back because it stopped becoming his main reason for living it became his family. Also quick fact if you go back to episode of the whole series and see the scene where grisha tells Eren he’ll show him the basement when he comes back he’s looking at Eren, and in the manga we see grisha staring at nothing (where future Eren is) which is really cool. Have fun on your vacation!

Diego Zenhäusern

Uhh, so this means that at least this ability it was already planed out to be this way in the manga...impressive!

Diego Zenhäusern

Uff, Eren's face when he convinces Grisha to kill them was terrifying😮!

Pre-episode intro. I completely agree with you. Zeke plan is giving up and I don’t think he should force all his people to give up with him. Episode start . Getting ahead of myself here but since we all watch the episode. Eren totally played Zeke. Yes showing memory to convince Eren 😅Zeke got played hard. All the early memories only show Eran having a normal childhood. I don't even know what Zeke is trying to show. Yes his father built some political contacts but that is perfectly normal. Zeke also built contact in his own land to gain power. 😂 Eren lying through his teeth to lead on Zeke when he said he was wrong. And you caught it. Eren telling Zeke what he wants to hear. 👍 When their father found the base Zeke first realisation. He think their father was power hungry ready to do anything risking his family but he didn’t do it for years taking care of his family instead. I love your reaction when their father saw Zeke 💖🔥🔥🔥 Yes attack titan see the future. So his dads see future zeke right there. After the into yep you caught on Zeke is the one realizing stuff not Eren. 👍 The father comment treating older sibling like shit 🥺🥺🥺🤗🤗🤗💖 Eren saying to Zeke I’m not like you. I think it showed a lot about Zeke. Zeke thinks he’s right and everyone should think the same if they have the same information and didn’t get brainwashed. That is why he’s so convinced that his solution is right for everyone. He doesn't understand that other people don’t want to give up. Just because you want to give up not everybody else wants it to. Zeke hasn’t the right to choose for others. That's why I’m so against his solution. It’s permanent and for everyone. They don’t get any say. Zeke still thinks he’s saving everyone. A lot of them don’t want your kind of saving Zeke especially Eren. Wow Wow Wow. You guess everything Yes Eren is the one that made his father kill them all. You see your super smart 😋 Episode end. (part 2 in reply)

Review part Aw. Stand up for yourself Lexie, we will continue to love you. We will love you more. 🤗 The thing that gives me a bit of hope is Eren saying that he will strike at those who limit his freedom. He wants to kill a lot of people but I don’t think killing everyone in the world is what he wants also. I don’t know the ending but I still believe that an ending with Eren killing everyone is not going to happen. Just my opinions. 🤣Lol at get a moment with Dad and I’m going to put my big boys pans on and do what need to be done 🤣🥰 The old king solution and Zeke solution are similar in a kind of way. Zeke kills themself in a generation but the old king's solution is just postponing death. They are trapped inside and waiting for someone to come kill them and will lay down and die when the moment comes. Nothing changed. I think you need to change how Titan are used and perceived if you want a future. But I don’t think it’s in anyone's plans. Well I don’t know the future so. Waiting to die that now how you atone. You atone by doing good and making the right thing for the people you did wrong. You said it just after I wrote it. No, we should just be better people and treat each other better. That's how you solve things. Lexie you're an amazing person and if there were more people like you the world would be a better place.❤️ Well I’m just waiting for Eren's action before judging what he does. That was an intense episode and an amazing reaction. I think I’ll take a little break get something to eat then watch Demon Slayer reaction. Take Care. 😋

Oh By the way, Have fun on your vacation. We will miss you very much but don't worry about us. Take a well earned brake and have a lot of fun. 😋

One thing to note about the whole future seeing is that what kind of time timeline are they on? Is like the multiverse where each action will branch of to its own timeline or is it deterministic where there is only 1 timeline and all action will conclude to a singular finale. The latter is quite substantial because if its it deterministic. It is regarded that there are no free will since everything is set in stone and nothing you do can change it. Now who in the AoT is obsessed with freedom and hate people who are not free? Perhaps the glimpse to the future will enlightened the said person of which it is.

damn this was way better in anime form than it was in the manga i am impressed.

Dany DLTV

Other than Eren's rage, Zeke's pain and Grisha's despair, I can also feel Freida Reiss' feeling of powerlessness, and frustration. I'm sure she wants to save Eldia more than anyone, she's supposed to have the power of a god but at the end of the day, she's powerless under Karl Fritz's chains (literally). They didn't show this in the anime, but in Historia's flashbacks, Freida constantly suffered from Schizophrenia, often turning from a kind-hearted lady and a loving sister into a cynical, angry person (probably the personality of Karl). One time she flipped out on Historia, telling a 9 year old to atone for her sins and accept the fate of destruction because she jumped over a fence, supposedly a metaphor of how much Karl Fritz is against the idea of Eldians being freed.

Very complicated emotion there indeed man. Nobody likes this, not even Eren. I'm sure he didn't enjoy killing the sister of (his friend? girlfriend? partner? Idk what Eren and Historia is even after the ending) and a family full of children. But if they don't die here, the story can't go forward here and he would've been the Barry Allen of the Aot timeline and fuck up history completely.

I appreciate your positivity and view against Karl Fritz's self-destructive ideals. We definitely can use a few more people just like you in this world. I believe I said that to Lexie as well 2 years back based on a similar context (Code Geass I think). However, it's probably not going to be as easy as being better people and treating each other better. If that worked I'm sure there won't be great titan wars, Eldia and the rest of the world's never-ending cycle of violence for millennia. I think under the context of what he has been through, Karl Fritz was admirable for making such a noble sacrifice on the behalf of his race in order to save the world. However, I also think he was a self-righteous selfish coward who cursed his people to the abyss because he decided by himself that they all deserve to die. What Karl Fritz and Zeke identified the problem as the power of titans. Eldians are born with the ability to turn into titans, the nine titans will transfer to Eldians at random even if you don't choose anyone to inherit it. For as long as that power exist, Eldians will either terrorize the world again, or they will be annilated. No matter which outcome, billions of lives will be lost. Karl Fritz and Zeke chose the world rather than the survival of their own race. Would I do it if I were them? No, but I still think they were admirable for being capable of making such difficult choices when they were put in that position. I most definitely agree with Freida (well Karl Fritz was controlling her mind anyway) that power under the hands of the "weak" will only cause tragedies to happen again, therefore she chose to seal the power away. If it was up to me, I would condition the power into defence purposes only. Like Freida can just defeat the Marley Warriors immediately when they infiltrated the walls and continue to use the founding titan to isolate Eldia from the rest of the world. I honestly believe that can be an answer as there won't ever be any technologies that can defeat the power of god that literally stops time, create millions of colossal titans in split seconds etc.

Yes. I can definitely feel the impact of each scene and the emotions of rage, horror, despair, and powerlessness in each frame.

Diego Zenhäusern

Wow, that's intense😯! No one seems to get a break in this universe🙈😥... Also just a little clarification: Freida's symproms would fit more to the diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder (DID). Schizophrenia is more like having illusions that no one else can see and DID is the thing where you have multiple personalities (alters) that can switch in and out when you're triggered. For the longest time I didn't know this distinction myself and I think it's a really common misconception🤔. P.S. If you're interested in learning more about the topic, there's a youtuber called Anthony Padilla who interviews people with all kinds of mental and physical illnesses (to spread awareness). The videos are really well made and his interviews are very respectful and interesting. He made an episode on both schitzophrenia and DID so that would certainly be a good starting point if you wanted to know a little nore about the topics🙂.

like i thought Eren's gonna do what he's been saying he's gonna do since season 1 destroy the world. Atp if eren can see the future then he must've saw that there's no way peace can exist as long as "eldians" exist.. In erens mind he probably can't accept that fact and chose a new simpler path.. just kill everyone else. There's also option 2 which is the code geas route but that would be kinda lame and not unique

So in order to avoid any confusion regarding the time travel mechanics, I will break down what type of Time travel we're dealing with here. AOT operates by a particular type of time travel where it's almost impossible to change the past even if you somehow go back in time. And any change that you tried to cause was always meant to happen in the overall timeline. Here time is a fixed circle, not a stream. We may see Eren meddle in the past but that was always meant to happen. This calls into the question of the existence of free will in the world of Attack of Titan. The Attack Titan's ability is to receive the memories of its future inheritors. This was hinted when Kruger mentioned Mikasa and Armin towards the end of S3. Keep in mind, they can only view these memories but can't interact with them. So how was Eren able to meddle in the past? Well, he had 3 perfect conditions: 1. He had the ability of the Attack Titan 2. The ability of the Founding Titan 3. He was also in contact with someone with royal blood AKA Zeke. After Zeke tapped Eren's head, they were able to view Grisha's past memories with Eren using the power of the coordinate. They were freely able to view the past as if it were through a one way mirror. Now if Eren had any other Titan other than the Attack Titan, he would only be able to look. But since Attack Titan can see forward in time, Grisha can use this to see Eren's recollection of the same event that he's currently experiencing in real time. So this mean that whenever Grisha can see or hear Eren, he's actually recieving a brief future memory from Eren's POV where he can see out of his eyes and hear his words. That means he is seeing himself from a 3rd perspective. Then if he responds, his response is simply part of the memory that Eren/Zeke are viewing, allowing for a two way communication through time. Also Note that everytime, Grisha sees Zeke, Eren is always standing behind his dad. So whenever Grisha sees Zeke, it is from actually due to the memories from Eren's POV
