This was the episode that sold me on the show. After I watched the first 3 episodes, I continued binging the show for another 6 more, after which I knew it was going to be on my list of all time favorite sports anime/manga, joining the ranks of Hajime No Ippo, Slam Dunk, and Eyeshield 21. Four seasons later and I'm glad my confidence wasn't misplaced. I had been pretty jaded with anime for a while, and wanted to feel excited about something again, the way I did when I was a teenager in my highschool anime club. This show gave me that feeling again.

Just starting the episode and king of the… 😂 I’m glad you like Haikyuu and All good fun. They are not on the team yet so that is why they had to sneak in 5 AM to practice. They are not allowed in during regular hours. And had to practice in the park. Well at least that is how I interpret it. Kageyama is always going 100%, We will learn more about him later. Well we learn about everyone in their own time. They are well built characters with their flaws and all. The tall blond we call him Tsukki. 15 minutes or more without dropping it. Their training really did pay off. At the beginning Sho couldn't receive at all. And his face when he finally spiked the ball. 🤩 Onto the review part. There is so much I can’t say because I don’t want to spoil 😇 All I can say at least we won’t have to wait until next season to learn more about everyone. About Sho not knowing how to receive. You're right it’s odd that he doesn’t know more of the basics. But I guess they want to show how much he grew and that Sugar, that senior gray hair setter name/nickname, was teaching him. I’m impressed with your analysis of Tsukki. Most others just react like he is a jerk and don’t like him or like him if they are into that kind of character. Fews goes further until later episodes when we get to know him better. The grey-haired guy is called Sugar. His real name is Sugawara but everyone just calls him Sugar. I’m glad you like Haikyuu. The more I watch the more excited I’m for the next episode. See you on the next reaction, Take care. 😋
