Great episode and great reaction. The moment between Medarda and Jayce was really interesting. I think I agree with you, that she seemed to have some genuine emotions and a real connection to Jayce there. Which, I feel, surprised her herself more than anyone else xD The thing with Heimerdinger is really difficult. Because I absolutely think they should heed his advice and try not to repeat the past, but on the other hand Jayce is right when he says that Heimerdinger is always just showing the problems but never giving any alternative solutions. Personally, I think removing him from the council altogether was the wrong approach...I think it would have been wiser for Jayce to just try and convince the rest of the council to back him up. That way Jayce could have keept his research without having to remove Heimerdinger as a voice of caution. But of course all of this is easier said than done😕 I actually do hope that Caitlyn and Jinx have to work together now to bust Vi out🤔😅 Though I don't know how realistic that is...it's probably more likely that they're going to blame and try to kill each other xD

thanks for the upload :) they actually never mention the scientist's name in the series but it's revealed in some subtitles and in the credits that his name is Singed

So I think the hexcore is changing viktor since heimerdinger notice that he looked different. Or it could be a fixation on it that is affecting his actions, also with that old guy in the cave is like viktor now each one wants their project to survive.I still think powder is in there since she went to save her sister before she was kidnapped, also the guy who sold them out we saw him in episode 1 where vander helped him get the money he was owed. They’re called firefights and I think they might be going against silco and trying to go back to the old way of living. It almost feels like they’re going to fight on the bridge again like back then by the way things are going.

Hi, I’m at my mom's house for the week so the comments may come later than usual. I like Viktor’s backstory. 🥺 I first believe that Medarda was only in it for herself. I think that she started to warm up Jayce. She was all surprised when he came to her and rested on her lap. I guess she’s so used to People scheming behind the scene so it’s normal that she goes to mode and how she expect most to behave. Jayce being genuine may get to her. She is not used to it. I love the cast of Arcane. Silco is a great Villain. Just evil enough cunning and with good motivation. Marcus is clearly out of his leagues with all those top notch characters around him. Caitlyn is not your typical topsider, I understand Vi to be weary of the lot of them. She already did a good step bringing Caitlyn down here But I guess it will take more than that to earn trust. For Heimerdinger, he is the only one that remembers the Mages and what destruction it can bring. However he believes that it must be destroyed and forbidden. But like all things it’s just a tool. Is how you use it. The cat is out of the bag. They have to be the ones that understand hextech. They need to be the one that controls it otherwise someone else will Silco or other groups then they will be in trouble. 😱 🤩When Jinx release the flair I never prayed so hard for Vii to see it. And come. That was an amazing scene. With all the imagery. And the waiting. It would have broken Jinx even more if Vi didn’t see it. I love the the reunion scene it was magician and with a touch of crazy Jinx, 😍 Great reaction. About unethical experimentation. The thing with Heimerdinger is he rejects every experimentation as a whole. Set boundary protocol so we have an ethical path to progress. Now Viktor is doing his experiment on plants to get the most of Hextech. Heimerdinger was against hextech from the beginning and would have rejected everything because he’s afraid of the past. Maybe a good example is nuclear power. We know it can produce weapons of mass destruction but we can’t just deny it exists. We set boundaries and protocol and protect the technology so we can do research safely. Yes it’s restricted. In the case of Hextech if not the top scientist in Jayce and Viktor who will study it. Silco and the other underground scientists. Viktor has already gone to see him. Heimerdinger by denying everything he lost control of any hextech. VI and Powder/Jinx reunions was the scene I was waiting for and like everything Arcane complex and amazing. Take Care. 😋

Caught up to myself. It was nice to see that moment between Jayce and Medarda. I don't think she expected him to feel so, geniunely for her. Marcus was some trash but I feel for him. That's a wiiiiiiild threat from Silco. I think all those people in that dark cavern place are shimmer junkies. I think Heimerdinger is partially right. But he's at the point of extreme caution. He keeps saying no, but doesn't seem to be presenting any alternatives. He can wait a decade for research to produce results because he'll live long enough to see them. Humans don't have that luxury. That being said, I don't think kicking him out is necessarily right either. I think they needed to meet in the middle somewhere. But, unfortunately, it wasn't to be.
