I was also thinking that maybe these “VIPs” are not only watching the games, but maybe they are betting on it? so do the winners (squid game players) get the money as well as the VIPs or is it a scam where the winner of the game thinks they get money, but will actually be killed off after? Do the VIP’s pick their players themselves? Like are they the ones who went out and recruited? Also, is it about the “players” all getting a fair chance at winning, or these VIPs getting a fair chance at winning?

This show is getting better and better with each episode. The marbles game really shows a whole range of people. Let's get the other stuff out of the way before talking about the marble game. For the detective I guess the boss room is the best place to hide. There were no cameras. The boss won't let people observe him like the rest of his crew. Secondly he wouldn't let his crew rummage around his room looking for the detective. Best place to hide Equality. I’m sure they believe in their twisted version of equality. Keep repeating to yourself that you are doing for equality then you convince yourself. That bitch that was left alone before the game. You get what you sow. Keep annoying everybody and then don’t be surprised nobody wants to be with you. Lexie, you’re an amazing person still feeling for her being left alone after being so against the way she acts. When the old man gave the jacket back to the MC. I believe he was saying. You don’t have to worry about me anymore, go choose someone strong. And he stayed alone in a corner. I’m wondering what you said at the end in the review. In that context what if the old man were the one left unpaired. 🤔 At the start of the episode I started to like the MC but marble game. However, rethinking about it I’m not sure I would have the guts to give the last ball and die. Maybe I think I would but being put in this situation with a way out. I didn’t like that he continued to cheat game after game afterward but do a bad thing once then it’s easier to do it again. I think the old man knew really well what he was doing during the whole episode. At the end the way he say does fooling me and taking all my marble is telling that he knew really well what was happening. He’s sharp. The first few games we saw him win he say odd, even, odd. I’m sure he could read the MC reaction to know which one is the real one. Ali and the finance guy, Sang-woo. This really shows their true personality. Ali was ready to follow a plan he knew nothing about to potentially save Sang-woo and Sang-woo just cheated him. In the shape game also he knew something and didn’t tell anybody. The two girls. At first I was thinking the North Korean girl was doing all the sharing. The other one didn’t say much until the end. I think it was a way for her to make a decision. Who she will die for. Lexie, I hated when you said you would sacrifice yourself. That you're not as valuable as other people. But thinking back I’ve often thought the same thing, that I can sacrifice myself to save someone else. What you do is important. Nowday too many people end up alone. Maybe in a big city surrounded by millions of people but still alone. Or far from people wherever you are. I’ve been thinking lately, why do I watch reactors. We humans are a social species that need human connection despite how introverted one is. I guess I’ve been trying to find it online. In real life, I’m far from being this talkative. In terms of entertainment no matter how good a show or series is in the end is fiction, it’s scenarised. I need genuine people reacting. As far as why you're my favorite reactor, it all comes down to you are the one I’m most comfortable being with. We are not compatible with everybody, some we find more annoying than others, some we find more boring than others. You just happen to be the one I like spending my time with the most. Interesting Idea. I didn't think about it this way, But that would make sense and generate money. Equality right those VIP wouldn't like if the game was rigged. I do wonder how they get all this money if it's been ongoing for years. But if it's fake prize they don't have to give the money. How about this The VIP bet on players and when a player die the money goes into the pot. The one that choose the winner get the jackpot. Each death add 100 millions won in the jackpot so if each VIP is paying 100 millions to choose 1 player or multiple if you have more money then winner takes all. There you are people willing to give money for a chase of a jackpot equality so nobody who's actually paying is cheated.
