I wouldn't mind if they give Shigaraki more of a compelling reason to want to destroy, but i also kind of like the idea of him just wanting to destroy because thats what he wants. Kind of like how Midoriya just wants to be a hero because that's what he wants to do.

I love this villain arc. These stories are much more compelling. I was going to say relatable but I may be a bit too strong since I haven’t had anywhere near the hardship they suffer from. These people had life throwing them in the worst possible situation and yet they manage to survive, grow and care for each other. Sure they all a little mess up in their head but who isn’t 😅 As oppose to heroes who are elite and goes to elite school in the top class. Ok I’m not being fair to heroes since they had their fair share of hardship but it seems pale in comparison. However I’ll admit that I have a strong recency bias since we are currently in the Villain arc. Offtopic have you heard of Hypnosis Mic. It’s a fun silly anime. I only watched a few episodes but the premise is that all weapons are banned. So they fight using rap battles. 🤣, It’s pretty popish japanese rap. In the anime they have special microphones that actually hurt the opponent when they sing. So the anime is about defeating the enemy with rap battles. I only watched a few episodes. Maybe I should go back and watch more. I believe the whole project is much larger and started in 2017, 3 years before the anime in 2020 with a label and I read that the songs charted well but I’m unclear on the specific.
