I really like these League of Villain episodes. To be completely honest, I prefer them to heroes. That is one of the reasons I dropped the show and didn’t watch last season. This is way more my kind of anime. These episodes give me hope that it will end up well for them. They wouldn't tell us all this back story and make us sympathise with them just to go back to Heroes and have them simply defeat the League. At least that's what I hope for. I don’t see the Liberation Army winning in the end. The whole idea of if you have the most powerful quirk you’re on top and can do whatever destruction you want does not make a good ending. Ironically if they resolve it by somehow integrating the league of villains back into society in a way that transforms society it may end up having a sane version of what the liberation army wanted more right for those with quirks and personality that don’t fit the norm of heroes. I have no idea if they are going this way. Hey, I haven’t even watched all the anime episodes. Again great reaction AP. you’ve made me think a lot more about the anime than what I would if I was only watching on my own.

The copy of Shigaraki was the one in the building talking to Re-Destro and when he was almost blown out the window he saw the real Shigaraki approaching the tower. When Twice got into the tower he made clones of the League of Villain members to help in the fight and told the clones not to worry about dying because they aren't the real ones.

I think "Mother of Quirks" refers to the original Destro's mom, the woman who was the first to start calling these powers "Quirks."

The in show reason for these flashbacks was to show what lead to the experiments being done on Shigaraki. The real explanation is that they wanted to have the Endeavor agency arc first so they could set up the movie but this arc takes place first in the manga so they had to do it in a flashback. I think that whole mother of the term “Quirk” thing was that the story Re-Destro told was how the powers came to be called “Quirks”. I’m sure they’ll explain Re-Destros quirk in the next episode. They’ve given insight into the quirks of all the higher ups of the Meta-Liberation Army, so I’m sure they’ll give insight into his. The thing that got Shigaraki mad was the MLA playing with Twices heart by kidnapping Giran. I think Shigaraki will still look to ally himself with AFO. He uses resources from AFO, and he’s been in this game long enough where I don’t see him changing his position. Great reaction as always.

I apologise MHA, I think I'm going to have to finally retire my Go Beyond Plus Ultra profile... it's been a good 5+ years, but I'm afraid it's a tad unprofessional and got boring haha Also I haven't been keeping up with the show as I've caught up to the manga for a while now, I'm a fake fan 😭
