I have another point I want to make. I was thinking more heavily about the primitive society and about the fact that they may be trying to hide something. It may not be just that the person in charge wants to keep them ignorant. It may be that he also wants to keep the outside world ignorant as well. The whole society may be a cover for something the leader might be hiding. The reason he wants to keep the society primitive, may be because if the people are ignorant, they are easier to control. The leader may be hiding something here from the citizens themselves, but also the world. It would make more sense on why he doesn’t want tech in here, cameras especially. If people record something and get it out, the whole world may know what they are hiding and want to get in to discover it, tear it down or retrieve what they had been hiding. I don’t know what it is or if it’s even true, but it certainly seems so!!

If people just think it’s an outdated society filled with farmers, they wouldn’t want to investigate the area as much! It’s definitely an ingenius idea!
