Killua X

I think you should do MHA while it's airing because it would be good for your channel. However you decide you can handle the shows, up to you. And as soon as I saw you were upset, I knew the Hisoka moment was coming and was gonna cheer you up, or at least snap you out of whatever mood you were in. Just can't watch the SCHWING and not be affected 😂🙈.

Christopher Rivera

Hisoka’s not a pedophile, he’s just an admirer of a well-rounded physique.

The rules (like Kurapika’s chain jail contract or Genthru’s countdown curse) are part of the conditions that afford the creators to have enough aura for the creation of Greed Island (and all of its cards). Thus the player event to access the #2 restricted slot card requires an 8 vs 8 game (in other words: 8v6 is not an option due to nen limitations).

Christopher Rivera

To reduce the attempts for nen users outside the game to break into Greed Island, without the game, for its valuable cards, they control the availability of that information (Greed Island not being a videogame). Ging’s information was classified on the Hunter database and he likely has certain details about Greed Island also filed under classified (Netero and Hunter Association higher ups likely have access to it). Edit: Yeah, like you said, being criminals it’s excused but also due to the Hunter Association’s political ties to take things into their own hands.

Christopher Rivera

I think Razor can take Hisoka, that’s why he’s not scheming to fight him (and to not lose any limbs before he can face Chrollo). Only thing is Hisoka is very crafty. Speaking of which, I like how nen abilities are what you make of them. The abilities aren’t always as intriguing as fortunetelling or manipulating emotions through music but they can be used in a cool way: Hisoka’s Bungee gum or Killua lighting Bobobo on fire — a taste of his own medicine for burning their ally. The ball is heavy due to the density of his shu (=enfold) application. Killua already slapped the ball to Goreinu so Killua wouldn’t be surprised by the weight of the ball itself.

Christopher Rivera

You ever play billiards at a bar? When there’s something at stake every asshole comes up with a rule to throw you off your game just as you’re in the lead. Relatable for me lol.

Christopher Rivera

Kid got knocked out of his shoes lmfao. Gon’s the best.

Christopher Rivera

They never said catching the ball is an out, it’s okay, a lot of reactors make that assumption. Probably because like me those were the rules when they played as kids.

Killua X

Love the moments when we're reminded of how savage both Killua and Gon are. Especially when we're reminded that Killua is family of the most notorious assassins. It's easy to forget when we see him smile and laugh with Gon (aka the Gon effect). Also love when things are all light and funny and then Togashi hits us with Razor casually blasting someone's head off, like you're watching HXH, don't forget it. I'm sooo happy that you're enjoying this part of the arc. This is the "event" that I've been talking about for weeks. It isn't a traditional "fight", so I wasn't sure if you were going to like it, really looking forward to the next few reactions 😬. And Razor's "devils" are made of his Nen, he's powering them, so saying "they're strong" is really saying even more (because I know you said it a bunch of times) that Razor is freakin strong. Too bad you got spoiled on Bisky. How do you come across these images online?! Love the Rem shirt (I miss Rem...🥺). **Be prepared for the flurry of "properties of Bungee Gum" comments when you upload this on YT. And here's your high five for remembering Kastro ✋.

Christopher Rivera

Also, don’t feel like you’re the only one who laughs at Hisoka despite the pedophilic vibes because everyone does.

Killua X

We do... we all laugh and cringe at the same time. I laughed even harder this time around because she was laughing. Dammit Togashi!

Oda Nobunaga

If I heard correctly you said that Re:zero will be 12 episodes? If that's the case then it's incorrect because it's gonna be 25/26. Hope it's clarified lol

Killua X

It's going to be 12. She already reacted to S2 Part 1 (13 episodes) and S2 Part 2 that is currently airing is confirmed to have 12 eps. (so 25 total, if that's what you were referring to.)

Jafeth Díaz

The next two episodes are probably my favorite ones from this arc! so excited!

Diego Zenhäusern

Oh, I didn't even consider that🤔 So basically Razor has a condition that is something like: "I'll only use my nen-clones, if I'm in an 8 vs. 8 game of dodgeball" And that's the reason why all of them are so strong (and he himself stays really strong too)?

Diego Zenhäusern

I have to admit though, that thinking about it a little, it kinda makes sense to me that Razor's move (cobining two players) would be allowed: When Killua asked whether Goreinu's move (switching places with the nen beast) was legitimate, the referee said that it was OK since nen was used, but to get back into the field he'd have to use "back". To me this would imply that basically anything accomplished using nen is fair, as long as it doesn't outright violate a rule that was set (like you have to use "back" to get back into the field and just one person can do it")🤔

Christopher Rivera

A tweet I just read: “I’d give up my human rights for togashi to come back bruh. Just give us something. Just a lil crumb man we’re starving. Just show us a new drawing man anything please” (Hiatus at 815 days since last manga chapter.)

Hisoka's issues with Gon and Killua are probably the worst part of the series to me. The world in HxH is definitely messed up and it's full of crazy psychopaths, but those are kids... that's a step too far. The prisoner thing sort of happened before, in the Hunter Exam, also. They made them fight prisoners and didn't really care if anyone there lived or died. It really seems like hunters aren't good people for the most part, though they look a lot better in comparison to people like the mafia and the Phantom Troupe. Even here, It sounds like Ging was probably totally OK with the possibility of his son who has never met him getting his head taken off by Razor. Like you said before, the Hunter Association was willing to pass someone like Hisoka even though it was pretty clear he killed one of their previous examiners. As for continued reactions and other series, I personally don't mind if you take a little longer or take breaks from the older series you're reacting to like HxH and FMA in favor of currently airing series. There's definitely an opportunity cost aspect where people are going to be exponentially more interested right when the episodes are coming out. From my perspective, it's also sometimes seems more enjoyable to watch reactions on new things, because it's new for everyone and we're all trying to figure out what's going on at the same time (other than manga/light novel readers).

Killua X

The HxH world is definitely a different kind of dark. (Not talking about the 'eccentric' part of Hisoka's character. If there was one thing I could take out of HxH it's those scenes. Thankfully there aren't many.) We often don't even realize how dark it is as we're watching. I still remember some moments from AP's reactions, during the Hunter exam when they had to find their way down from that giant pillar thing and that one guy tried to climb down and was eaten by those flying monsters, when Uvo stretched that Mafia dude's neck out, when Kurapika brought the shovel and buried Uvo after killing him. Like I said previously, Killua's a great kid who likes to skateboard and play around with Gon and we forget he used to murder people for a living. Even in the lighter arcs, there moments when we're like 'damn, that was pretty dark'. You'd never know either...just looking at the poster of three smiling kids and Leorio.

Killua X

@AP fyi, spoilers in the comments of your latest HxH YT upload...

I'm fairly certain the reason you think Hisoka's pedophilia is funny is because you like Hisoka. This seems to be a trend, where people like a character, so their bad behavior is more excusable to people. Best way to put it would be to say look at how people view Hisoka and his behavior compared to Mineta from MHA.

Christopher Rivera

That’s sort of a “chicken or the egg” problem. Do we like Hisoka because he’s funny? Or is he funny because we like him? I’ll go with the former. Hisoka is likable because he makes us laugh because his expressive lusting is so over the top for the sake of fighting a little boy (particularly once he’s “ripened” and “matured”). This makes his thoughts and behavior surprising, confusing, unique, and memorable as well as funny. Also, he’s not really a pedophile, see the above comments.

your channel, your decision in what order you do the shows :) Nice to see you this excited^^
