First of all welcome back :). Second, Eren barely even flinched previously during all the dark situations in this season, and yet he threw the biggest tantrum when Historia's situation was being mentioned. (He was speaking in full honorifics, supposedly very respectful to a senior and yet I felt nothing but danger and threats from his tone) Honestly so far from what we know I really don't see another way they can proceed other than Zeke's plan in order to survive, even Eren who spent years trying to protect Historia has nothing but the feeling of powerlessness against this situation. That being said though I refuse to believe the father is anyone but Eren for it to make sense in my mind, if Historia is going to be sacrificed there's no way he'd let anyone else do it

Eren has been super protective of Historia since season 3. The anime actually cut out quite a few scenes of theirs that were in the manga.

In regards to the Rumbling, it is merely one of the many ways you can use the founding titan's power. It is not only a titan for combat, this titan is known for building the world they know today, in the manga I believe they stated that the ice burst stone unique to the Paradis Island was created by the founding titan. There is so much potential with it and as long as it exists, they'll never stop using the founding titan's power nor should they stop. I too see the messed up reality of having to constantly force 2 people to become titan shifters but I personally believe that overall the pros outweigh the cons. Besides how can they get rid of the titan even if they want to, even if they don't have people inherit it, it's going to randomly let Eldian newborns inherit it after 13 years.

Yeah, all the more reason I think it can't be anyone else. Eren and Historia share a bond no one else does in the story. Historia was self-conscious about her true self not being the goodie two shoe goddess and Eren was the only person who told her he hated Christa and prefers the real her. While Historia saw herself when Eren wanted to die because he's not needed in this world. Not to mention they were both burdened by their family's responsibilities.

The best part of this episode was the "Eh?" "Eh?" 'baka moment' between Connie and Sasha and all of them blushing (especially Eren) because they care for each other so much. We need these flashback moments right now to contrast to how hard and emotionless they've become (especially Eren). Anyway, hope you're feeling better, nice sweater btw. **"We can't give it to an idiot though."--AP Lol, poor Sasha and Connie. Not a manga reader, and idk if she should have it, but I'm gonna call it now and say Gabi will inherit the attack titan and the cycle of hate will continue.

Hmm, while I belive you that there are more good than bad uses for the titans, I personally still think that the bad uses are way to terrible to be around. Even if you could make sure that the power is always in the hands of someone who won't misuse it there will still be many people that won't trust you and will fear the Eldians (and try to fight them) or try to steal the titans to get the power for themselves. I personally doubt that it is possible to achieve real peace if the titans are still around, just because of human nature and the fact that greed and mistrust (sadly) always seem to come through😥 So I'd be in favor of gettting rid of the titans as a whole. But as you said: We don't even know if and how that would be possible🤔 So at this point this is more of a philosophical deliberation than a real solution.
