So I’ve been thinking about shows. I will be finishing up AOT and TPN at around the same time. I’ll replace those shows with Re:Zero season 2 part 2. That won’t take too long to get through either because I’ll be able to binge those 12-13 episodes instead of having to wait for one episode per week. Which show would you like to see take its place?

Also, I’ll still have a bit of fullmetal left, but not much. I was just wondering which show you guys would like to see take it’s slot. Post your suggestions down below!

So to clarify, once I finish AOT and TPN, we’ll still be reacting to HXH and FMAB while also adding rezero. Once I finish FMAB, I’ll replace it with one of the suggestions you guys come up with. Once I finish rezero, same thing, I pick a suggestion. So at that point we’ll be reacting to 2 new shows as well as HXH. Hopefully that made sense! 😅

@AwakeProductions do you have a specific genre you’re interested in mind? Otherwise the suggestions’ range might get too wide

Anonymous

Hello, Jujutsu Kaisen is really good ! You should give it a try.

AwakeProductions

Hmm. I like darker animes, but I’m open to something lighter as long as it’s got a great story there. I don’t mind comedies either, although I don’t always get the jokes 😅

Anonymous

Oh cool, didn't know that !

Anonymous

So I’m a Spider So What? Is pretty fun so far.

Christian

Are there any anime that have caught your eye, maybe you could run those by the community and see if any of us are interested in them. Durarara is good Other full metal alchemist is different from around when we meet greed to the end. Vic is still Ed in that one. Katanagatari is a short cool anime. Only 12 eps but all of them are an hour long Maybe a fate stay night. And parasyte

Anonymous

Redo of healer🙂

Balmung

Imma just shoot my shot and recommend yozakura quartet because it's insanely underrated. (There's a viewing order, unfortunately)

AwakeProductions

I would like to say that I’ve been thinking of Parasite. I’ve heard it’s good, but I don’t want to choose it if no one else is interested.

Anonymous

Parasite is amazing!!! Completely forgot about that show. Dark and very good.

Anonymous

How about FireForce ! Its a really fun anime

Alan

Oregairu !! Not the type you usualy react to but it's a really great show and pretty enjoyable to watch with reactors. No idea about the copyright on youtube tho

Mikk

Black Clover. Long but gets better with each arc

Alan

Strong mental required for the 30 first episodes but yeah, it only gets better

Anonymous

Death Parade is a really good Anime. It even made me cry

Anonymous

Oh my I’ve found a fellow Oregairu fan. That was a masterpiece slice of life. The story explores the complexity and philosophies of life

Corrupt Zain

Slime season 2 is airing so you could watch some good ol' rimiru again

Anonymous

I haven’t continued past season 1. Does season 2 get better?

Herman

Madoka Magica feels like it'd be a good time for everyone involved, and it's only 12 eps. (I have no idea how much you know about it, but it's a lot better than it seems at first glance)

Anonymous

Have you watched any of the Fate series? If not, that gets my vote.

Anonymous

The infamous anime that started the 3 episode rule. Oh I know that anime alright

Radoras

yup, watched it as well; one of the few anime-original shows I saw that were really great! Only downsides are that a) it stops after the first and only season & b) if she's looking for action, there isn't much of it

Aj99

Talentless nana, its a sleeper anime. I was about to drop it on the first episode but i just couldnt stop watching it after the second one

Rok Gorjanc

Mushoku Tensei, the og Truck-kun isekai

Matthew Proctor

Did a quick search for some comedies; Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Saiki kusuo no psi nan, Nichijou

Anonymous

The best comedy imo is scissor seven. It's not Japanese but has Englisch sub and dub. Its pretty hard to make me laugh but I couldn't stop laughing at this

Anonymous

If you're interested in something dark, Mirai Nikki is one of the darkest Animes I know

Anonymous

Mirai Nikka or Puella Magi Madoka Magica are my suggestions. Both amazing shows

IAmABacon

Have you watched Made in Abyss? It's a fun adventure with interesting creatures/geography, but is also very dark.

Illumi

Bleach is good if u haven't watched it already and it's coming back with new episodes this year after years of waiting, so I think it's a great anime to watch. Even if you watch in your free time

Loken

Golden kamuy or Vinland saga

IAmABacon

Good story, and some real good fight scenes. Im sure she'd love it

Dany DLTV

Maybe Wonder Egg Priority but I only watch 1 episode😆 it was great but I feel bad recommending thing in haven't seen 😖 It's ongoing I believe we are at episode 5, but only 12 episode this season

Anonymous

You should try the shows that came out this year like Sk8 the infinity or Kemono Jihen

Anonymous

Mirai Nikki is one of my favs! I think you should try it, would be a wild ride

Anonymous

Jujutsu Kaisen is very good, you should check it out

Ewasabi316

Fate/Zero if you havn't watched that yet another is an older anime called Guin Saga

yo kel!

Mob Psycho 100!!! Its short

Anonymous

Black clover and dr stone

R.BGames37

It depends. On what you want.. do you want short anime or longer once?? For Short. Anohana: A Flower i Saw That Day Angel Beats Made in Abyss Dont know if you seen these. For longer once. Naruto / Natuto Shippuuden. Bleach. One Piece. My Hero Academia. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Jujutsu Kaisen. Fate/Zero. And maybe start to do live shows too.. if you want. Game of Thrones. The Walking Dead. The 100. Vikings. Doctor Who. Torchwood. Marvel: Agents of Shield. Stranger Things. The Boys. The Flash. The Gifted. Heroes / Heroes Reborn.

Anonymous

Until she finishes Bleach, Yoshihiro Togashi would've finished HxH. That Anime ist waaaay too long

Anonymous

Bro... even if she uploaded 1 episode of One Piece every single day for 1 year straight, she wouldn't've even hit the half mark yet. It's more likely that Ruffy finds the One Piece before she finishes that show. Naruto and Bleach are also way too long. She already reacted to mha and watched Jujutsu Kaisen

Maddest Moe

I forgot to say that Vinland saga was the best anime of 2019

Anonymous

Please watch Made in Abyss. its one of the best animes and its short 2

Radoras

it's promising so far, just a bit worried that it's gamey-nes might be a bit stronger sometimes - on the plus side, with a female Spider MC we may get an Isekai WITHOUT F*ING HAREM *.* Also hope it doesn't go down too far the OP MC-route & maybe at some point focuses a bit more on character- than power development - maybe any LN-readers here that can comment on that WITHOUT SPOILERS? ^^'

Kevin Tran

Parasyte the Maxim PLEASEEEE!!!!! It’s not a particularly long series I know you’ll love it. Bleach is also an option in terms of longer series but I would recommend to skip fillers

Radoras

interesting story so far, but the *ahem* "culture" in that one is big

Anonymous

Definitely react to Mushoku Tensei at some point. It's currently airing right now but it has been nothing but amazing so far and the light novel is one of the best that I've read. Also, the second cour is set to air during the summer so you can catch up to it in the next season of anime before the second cour starts if you do decide to watch it. I see people are recommending Parasyte as well which is also a great anime that I would highly recommend tbh

Killua X

Does anyone here care for Black Clover? I've only heard about it and seen a lot of reactions to it... Also forgot about SDS. I know Season 5 started in Japan already, not sure if you can find it but I'm still very interested in continuing that with you.

Haikyuu! One of the best sport anime

SpartA

Parasyte the Maxim

Vinland Saga: The most popular show of 2019. Shame it's only on Amazon Prime though. Same studio with Attack on Titan S1 to S3. 24 Episodes Demon Slayer: Another popular anime of 2019. This might be the darkest anime here in my list. 24 Episodes Fate/Zero: An anime from 2012 but the animation quality put many anime to shame. Out of all animes I listed here this is the most mature of them all. Same studio as Demon Slayer. 26 Episodes Assassination Classroom: Very hilarious anime which has a rich cast. The Japanese voice actor of the main character also voiced Lelouch from Code Geass. 52 episodes if I remember correctly. Avatar The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra: If you haven't seen these series already I would recommend start reacting on these. Now that they are on Netflix their popularity increased again. A lot of Youtubers reacting to it. Two series combined have 100+ episodes if I'm not mistaken. Shaman King: I know it's not popular today and many here might not even heard about this show but back in the day this shounen show reached worldwide fame in a world without streaming services like Netflix or Crunchyroll. Now they will start releasing a remake of this series on April right around when Attack on Titan S4 ends. It will follow the manga events and if I'm right it will exceed its former popularity.

m dunt

could you point out what kind of mood you want? a bitter sweet sad story: your lie in april / Violet Evergarden action: blue lagoon romance: toradora maybe Snafu or even Love is war for some comedy driven

Cephandrius

-Vinland Saga (10/10 anime imo) -Slime Season 2 (I've heard from LN readers its about to pop off) -Jobless Reincarnation (Really good so far imo and better than i thought but you'll be blushing a lot lmao) -Made in Abyss (very dark despite how it looks and good story)

Anonymous

Parasyte or Assassination Classroom. I would love Demon Slayer also, but pretty sure you tried that once and it didn’t work? Assume you’ve already watched it.

IamBaum

The 2nd Slime season is great so far, seeing a comeback here would be fantastic :)

Sascha

Berserk 1997(dub) is a rare but popular react series and though has a good individual ending is also great intro to one of the best manga series of all time

Killua X

I personally would also like Demon Slayer as I've heard so much about it and want to watch it but would love AP's reactions. Maybe a Patreon-only?

Killua X

Hey @AwakeProductions! Can you clarify if you would be open to one of these being a Patreon-only show or if you want to move forward doing only shows you can also post to YouTube (without it being too much of a pain in the ass). I think that might help narrow down our suggestions.

Sam

I was going to recommend that except sub is my personal preference. Especially for reactions because I can read the subs and listen to the reaction. I just watched Berserk 1997 with my grandfather and he liked it until the ending. He didn't hate the ending for the usual reasons people do. He just didn't understand it. He thought it came out of nowhere and made no sense. I tried to explain it to him but he doesn't really get the stuff that goes on under the surface in a story.

Matthew Moore

Fate/zero is a good show. Has rich characters, great animation and awesome fights. Also acts as a good introduction to the rest of Fate, if you decide you want to watch more, but is fully capable of standing on its own.

jacob

Kaguya sama: love is war, one of the best comedy/romance anime ever and one punch man, great comedy/action anime.

Killua X

I feel like she's already watched One Punch Man but would be a great short, light, funny action anime to react to. Also very popular so YT would get views...

Oda Nobunaga

I recommend: - Made in Abyss - Parasyte - Vinland Saga - Tokyo Ghoul? - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)

M Ark

Like some have said, ‘Kaguya love is war’ is really fun. Demon Slayer is fantastic. And my hero academia is a recent staple.

RJIA

I'm liking all these suggestions everyone else is throwing out. People have good taste around here. I'm definitely going to try to keep this question in mind for the next time you finish a series. Right now, I can almost guarantee that my favorites are too old to bring viewers or just not the right kind of tone for you to normally get engrossed in. My favorites are: Clannad, RahXephon, ef: Tale of Memories, Angel Beats, Baccano, Kokoro Connect, and Hellsing You're already reacting to or previously reacted to my newer favorites (HxH, Steins;Gate, Re:Zero, TPN)

Anonymous

I personally would recommend "Berserk" since I think it's something you would enjoy. But ultimately it's up to you to decide what you want to watch. :)

Nefarious Nox

I got to this late but I would like to see you watch Birdy the Mighty: Decode or Darker than Black. Both have great animation and good dubs.

Anonymous

I petition goblin slayer. If you can get past goblin slayer first episode you should be fine with the rest of the show. If not doing demon slayer would be neat! Looking foward to which show you would ultimately choose.

Anonymous

How about Tokyo Ghoul or One Punch Man?

IAmABacon

Good list. I personally thought Tokyo Ghoul was just 'okay', but I know a lot of people think it's fantastic. The rest are definitely amazing in my book!

Anonymous

What about Anime films btw? There are some absolute masterpieces out there..other than that just look at the top 25 shows on MAL and see if you havent seen something. Its really hard to run out of good anime/manga even if you are a certified otaku. :P

Christopher Rivera

Having an anilist or myanimelist account linked in the description would help us know what you’ve already seen and what might interest you based on that. 🙃

Anonymous

I know I'm a little late here, but would love to see you watch darker than black. One of my favorites.

Anonymous

How about Vinland saga Kaguya sama: love is war Jujutsu Kaisen
