Do you guys think Minerva is a demon who one day realized what the demons were doing is wrong or maybe unfair? I was just rewatching episode 4 and based on the way he worded his message, it seems like he may have been a demon. Did anyone else get this vibe?

Yayyyyy. Just started downloading it. But your hair in the thumbnail 😏.

Just finished watching the reaction 👍. Your hair looks great in the video 😊. I think you missed when the two demons said that it's been a year since the Grace Field escape. You were too disgusted by the Human meats market. So about a year time skip. I wasn't expecting a time skip now it kind of came out of nowhere and leave so many questions. But I guess we will have answers in future episodes. I also had the same theory about degeneration and the same question about Mujica&Sonju. BTW I read some of the manga but I'm not that far and everything I've read has been dropped from the anime. So I'm as blind as far as what going to happen next. Overall great episode I've enjoyed it a lot.

Wow, your hair does look different in different light. So full as well. How dark it is makes you look a little older I think (hope that's not offensive). I'm not a hair expert but guess I have a thing for hair? Like I can't get over Emma's hair, I think it's drawn so well and looks even cooler now that it's more grown out. So, as soon as we found out about the eating humans to prevent degradation thing, I was thinking of Sonju and Mujika. Glad I didn't do my usual early comment before I saw your add-in 😅. I'm really wondering about them now. I feel like trusting Mujika, and why would Sonju talk about finally being able to eat humans if they already have been. I think maybe there is something else special about their diet in the forest that keeps them in that form. I definitely don't think Norman escaped. I was thinking same as you, that this might be some squad to retrieve the children. I also think that the anime might make us believe Norman has been brainwashed, but he'll come in clutch when we need him too. Like maybe he's been pretending this whole time to be on their side. He is the smartest one, after all. About Minerva, I thought he said he was a human in his message but I guess it was vague enough to just make us think that. Like, IIRC he just said he "worked" at a farm? I mean, your theory makes sense to me right now because we've only seen "Sisters" (females) at the farms. I guess the guards are males so...idk. I think I'll go back and re-watch that part too now lol.

Man, I'm just to damn trusting! When I saw Norman I was just like: "Whoah guys, it's Norman!! And he's got himself a crew! Now they're gonna be able to make a decent plan to save the others!" And then I was like: "But how did he escape? Did Isabella actually let him escape? Was she low key always on their side? Or did he just somehow escape on his own?" It never even entered my mind, that he could have been brainwashed (even though that's a completely realistic explanation) 🙈 On Sonju and Mujika: Maybe it’s just me being way to trusting again, but I’d agree with you in that I think they probably just have some herb or something in their diet that helps them not degenerate (but it’s just way less tasty than human meat and so most demons wouldn’t go for that alternative willingly?) Or maybe we’re actually supposed to believe their god really exists and can, for instance, keep them “sane” even without human meat, if they choose to abstain from human meat as a sacrifice in his name (rather than just not being able to afford it, like other demons)? On Minerva: I’m pretty certain the thought that he might be a demon entered my mind before….but I just didn’t have any decent indicators on whether that might be the case or not, so it just stayed a possibility in the back of my mind I didn’t really explore any further…. But I think that could really make sense….him being a demon could especially explain how he could get the resources to build a bunker for the children without getting caught🤔

Man, this episode in particular (and the anime in general) really gets you thinking about the ethics of the whole situation. Because in some ways the demons having humans in farms is just like us holding cattle to slaughter it….but then again it isn’t exactly the same, since humans seem to have more self awareness and a sense of freedom cows or pigs don’t seem to have (or at least they can’t tell us in the way humans can tell the demons). And now they’re making the whole thing even more complex with the fact that demons seem to be somewhat reliant on human flesh, so eating humans isn’t just a choice of diet (like being a vegetarian or not) anymore🤔 And the way the demons are written in general… for me this whole episode was a rollercoaster of emotions between empathising or even feeling sorry for them and being disgusted by them. The best example being the old demon in the church, where one moment I find him so likable (when he’s gently berating them for staying there, assuming they are demon children) and the next moment I’m just disgusted (when he’s wishing for human flesh so casually and without any sense of compassion).

P.S. Man, I already liked your hair in the post you made, but in this light (when it looks way darker to almost black) it's just on🔥🔥!!

AwakeProductions

Yeah I’m this lighting my hair looks almost black which is kinda weird for me. It’s hard to get used to. I’m hoping that if I wash it it might lighten up a bit.

Christian

i love how dark your hair looks in the videos

I just realized what's been stuck in the back of my mind since yesterday. You have to cosplay as Mikasa now 😳🙏🙌. **Young mikasa
