The philosopher stone is an energy source and it is not infinite. Roy just burn the shit out of Lust till there is no energy left for the stone to regenerate lust. About whats the minimum soul needed to make a philosopher is shown later on. I cant wait for you to finish this show and see how everything unravel and see how many of your theory is correct.

I totally understand you not beeing that sad about your grandfather, especially if you weren't to close, so don't feel bad about it. Personally I'm not that emotional and see natural death as part of life. So I was more happy that my grandparents could go peacfully when they died than I was sad about them beeing gone.

Idk, Dr. Marcoh said: "This stone is incomplete, there's no telling how long it will last". To me that suggested that a true stone would last forever (and so Lust's would be incomplete if it can break)....but to be honest, I haven't seen this show in a while and so I'm not even shure wether we ever get a definitiv answer on that question.
