I didn't want to say anything in your last video to avoid spoiling that Leorio would lose, but I really disagree with you about Leorio tricking her. Sure, the gambler didn't expect him to have medical knowledge, so he was able to take advantage of that to get a quick win for their team (which they should have had anyway so the fact that they had to fight for it is a victory on her part), but look at what she made him lose in return. First, it was a dumb idea to agree to the gambling match. Both parties had something to lose if they lost the match (Leorio's team lost 50 hours, the convicts would have gained 50 years). However, Leorio's team would have gained nothing extra if they won the match, so they had no incentive to accept it. So it was stupid to accept it without demanding anything else (not that it would have mattered since Leorio lost). Then, Leorio didn't call her out when she changed her bet as soon as he announced how he would verify the bet. I would argue that it was too late by that point since the object of the bet was whether or not the guy was unconscious, not whether Leorio could prove it. So Leorio got them 1 win that they already should have had and lost a total of 30 hours doing it (including the 10 hours he gained from his first bet) because he passed up the opportunity to gain a total of 30 hours instead (if they went with her initial bet). That was a victory for the gambler, not Leorio's team and Leorio had no reason to be that smug about it. In fact, if you rewatch the episode you'll notice that throughout the entire interaction, she was basically making up rules as she went and no one thought to call her out on it. Anyway, then there was everything that happened in episodes 11 and 12. When I first watched this, I walked away from the trick tower arc hating Leorio.

Hmm, but did he really have a choice but to agree to the match? I mean: If both parties have to agree on the kind of match their playing, the convicts can just insist on playing their game, refuse everything else and laugh as the others loose all their time arguing about the game. So I definitely wouldn't fault Leorio for accepting the game, since they basically had no choice, even though they make it look like they do. However, I completely agree with you, that it is straight out weird, that no one seemed to object, as she changed her bet. Watching this for the first time , I wouldn't say that I hate Leorio, but I'm definitelly disappointed, that he didn't owe up to his mistake and suggest to stay behind when he literally lost them 50 hours because he was a pervert.
