Schneizel does not have any empathy. For people who said Lelouch was a sociopath, Schneizel is the true sociopath. Under normal circumstances he tries to play nice and gentle with everyone until he doesn't think it's necessary, then he'll slaughter every last person if it means achieving his goals. He wants to eliminate war and conflict, and he wanted to do it through nuking the entire world, the people who survives will learn the terror of war. To him even several billion deaths is worth that cause.

Schneizel is basically an enhanced version of Light Yagami. I wouldnt call Lelouch a sociopath but he definitely have sociopathic tendencies but Schneizel is straight up psychopath. His mask was even better than Lelouch's. And when compared to Light he actually believes 100% in his cause. Light started using the death note out of boredom and he isnt prepared to sacrifice his own life. Schneizel doesn't even care about his own life which makes him 10x dangerous than Light.

Christian

I think the main reason you find Light more like able than Schneizel is how much time you’ve actually got to spend with Light as opposed to Schneizel.

Yeah I would say Schiezel is a psychopath 100%. He is very charming when he needs to be and he’s extremely manipulative. He also doesn’t seem like he would ever lose control over his emotions or ever get upset about anything. He strikes me as the type of person who doesn’t really get upset because nothing really matters to him. His goal seems to matter but even if things go wrong for him he doesn’t get angry. That’s scary. If nothing ever unsettles him or gets to him emotionally in any way, he’s way less likely to have clouded judgement. If he never has a clouded judgment, he’s even less likely to make mistakes or underestimate his opponents. I think that makes him a dangerous person. I agree, a great final boss!

The Schneizel and Light comparison is spot on. They will sacrifice anyone and everyone to achieve their goals. I found it pretty cool that Sayoko decided to work with Lelouch even though she is Japanese. That's true loyalty. Unfortunately, commanders sacrifice their soldiers all the time during war so it's not surprising that Scneizel and Lelouch would do the same. Just shows the ugly nature of war

That's an extremely spot-on analysis. When things don't go his way, he just shrugs it off. He has no emotional investment in anything which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the situation

Nina biting a hot dog, erotic. NOT. LOL

34:51☠ She failed. I saw her warming up😨 but I had enough to hit pause.😝

Light is worse. Light wants to impose HIS morals, standards and judgment on the world. Schneizel wants to use a system that is impartial not his personal beliefs. Schneizel is much better than Light. He's just blooder due to the the circumstances he's in.

48:21😣she just had to.

This reminds me. Code Geass sure doesn’t hold back on writing characters off the show..the way Cornelia went out was just undignified. Well, at least she went out the same way Euphy did, on the hands of their brothers.

olivia

fun fact: it’s theorized that Lelouch and C.C had sex afterwards during that closet scene lol

I have a lot to say about this episode and your thoughts. First of all, that statue is 99% some Greek goddes (I'd say Femida. Usually she represents divine law) holding the Damocles Sword. Why is it so? This is simple: it's an analogue for Schneizel with the Damocles fortress in his hands (he literally said "then I shall become a God"). Damocles isn't a random name for this fortress. You need to check on wiki what Damocles is about to fully understand it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damocles There are no spoilers for the show of course. Second one, Schneizel and Light are very close. They want (initially at least, I mean people can change their views on things during their lives). So, they have pretty much the same goal with similar ways to reach it. However, Schneizel is worse. He is real. Light is like the child. If you think carefully, you will realise that you just can't kill every single one bad person on the planet. The evil is in the human nature so you will need to wipe out whole humanity. Schneizel's plan was very close to actual REALITY once. I am talking about the Cold War now, Cuban Missile Crisis. Like Damocles in Code Geass with F.L.E.I.J.A.s our world has nuclear bombs. Like wiki states: Soviet First Secretary Nikita Khrushchev wanted the Tsar Bomba (very very powerfull nuclear bomb) to "hang like the sword of Damocles over the imperialists' heads". Not to mention the United States had practically the same weapons (and their weapons were actually used against the enemy once, two cities with civilians were bombed). Luckily Cuban Crisis ended peacefully... I am not trying to judge US or USSR now I just want to point that Code Geass situation with Damocles is very similar to what actually WAS in our history. Meanwhile whole Kira scenario is still a fantasy. Schneizel is scarier beacause he based on real politicians. Third one, it was shown that Villetta holding her stomach (not even once actually), yep I'd say she is pregnant. Some happy news at least. ^^

Hmm kinda weird anime sound on this one again

well, Schneizel's rule would be peace... the peace of a graveyard under Lelouches' absolute rule, everyone would be Geass'd into (maybe even happily if he wants it) following his orders, even if that order would be to put a gun in your mouth. under Schneizel's rule, people have their free will, but also have it constantly oppressed, nevery being able to exercise it... 2 dystopian systems, pick your poison

Lol, I've watched this series like 4 times already and I never realized, that they explain, that in the battle of Tokyo a decoy ship got destroyed and Nunally got away in the "real one". I always was like "So she's alive now? Well, guess I'm gona roll with it." xD And you dare to say that you're dump and often don't pick up on things?
