I feel like most studios have this problem but Madhouse in particular for some reason tends to have shoddy animation at times because they outsource it to freelancers. Sometimes the animation is amazing other times it looks rushed and botched. Literally unless they’re Kyoto Animation who takes a lot of time for each scene and actually pays their animators I feel like most studios slip up here and there.

Yeah seriously I mean last episodes animation style was almost completely different than this ones. I feel like this ones was closer to how the animation has usually been for most of this season. I would say episodes 1-7 had the same animatore but episode 8 and 9 were two different ones. That’s just stupid to me. It kind of throws you off. You know? You get so used to own style and then they completely switch it up. For a person with OCD it’s really distracting.

Well, if he has all possible information, he'll probably be able to figure out a murder method that fools everyone but L - who will be too dead to share his conclusions by then. On he "killing minor criminals"-thing: It would be suspicious if criminals ONLY died when Light wouldn't be able to see their broadcasts, at least against someone like L who would question everything and recognize the pattern - he has to act like it has no effect if Light sees them or not, because if Kira wasn't Light Yagami his behaviour wouldn't be affected by what information Light has access to. Maybe what threw Light off was partially that it was a pretty blunt, straight-forward move - effective, but no finesse at all, unlike their previous confrontations. Also, love how intimidated Ryuku was by Light's outburst, even though there's literally nothing Light could do to him XD
