Ha! This gets better and better with each panel. I can't stop grinning like an idiot as I type this.

Gnarlington was the hot chick all this time? Did not see that coming. Gnarlington needs his own tv show

Yeah, but unless it's done properly it could ruin Gnarlington's charm. We often see him performing actions which requite speed and agility (e.g. right here where he clearly snatched that ball somehow), yet every time, too, we see the same piece of wood in the same shape and form. How exactly all that acts are performed remain a mystery. This dualism (obviously agile and capable behind-the-scenes character yet always stationary when in limelight… kinda like toys in various toy stories) is hard to portray on TV. Not impossible (hey, Pixar did four “Toy Stories”, right?), but hard… Even so: Gnarlington is clearly Zdemian's ticket for PG13 stories (if he'll want to start doing them at some point in the future)… as wonderful as LBSM and other stories are they clearly forever remain a niche art… Gnarlington could be accepted by mainstream easily… he'll need steady adversaries (not “every story has it's own set of villains and lady companions” as it's done now) plus some planning but could be done…

I believe the appropriate response here is "YOINK!"

I figured out who Gnarlington reminds me of. Stump. From the Angry Beavers. A seemingly immobile piece of wood with the appearance of a face, that accomplishes miraculous deeds offscreen and through "freak coincidence" onscreen.
