I have a big soft spot for threat display type colorations, so the fake skull appearance has always been something I like to do. I been contemplating other patterns but its such a simple but nice one to me. modest dull tones with some flare along the face, neck, tail, wings

She does look way more menacing with that kind of coloration. For a moment I even wondered if this wasn't a new character. Can Alyssa change her appearance herself depending on the situation or emotions ?

Nah I just havent finished her, lots to her that im undecided about so drawing her a lot in all the different ideas till I can find the right blend for her permanently
