How many NPCs can you spawn? (Patreon)

I'd like to gather some information on performance. In v0.0.2 press N to spawn an npc and at the top left you'll see the total number of characters in the game.

With the fps indicator enabled, please vote on how many characters you can spawn before your FPS can't keep up
