Goodbye, squat rack! I won't miss drawing you.

Sometimes I think about if I put some effort into painting these comics 100% rather than having a lineart layer, a flats layer, etc. Just get all of it done at once, rather than having this lengthy process for a picture. I convinced myself a while ago that this allows me to have more control over any one particular element of a picture to more easily fix mistakes, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's just my way of hoisting more work on myself. I may have to bite the bullet and attempt a 100% painted comic one day...

maybe one day you can draw a mini comic that spans several pages to help you test that theory out one day!

That's an awesome idea

If you think, it’s going to suck you into an unnecessary amount of work, most likely will, BUT that’s what Patreon is for to allow you to expand and test those ideas weather you agree with our comments or not. Also when you mean “painted”, do you mean a more detailed Illustration? (Illustration isn’t the word I’m looking for but it’s the first thing that comes to mind).

Meesh

That's a good point! I just try to stay on a consistent schedule with illustrations and comic pages, which has made me timid about experimentation. I will keep your words in mind :)
