Animation in Procreate & Course Updates! (Patreon)

Hey Everyone!

I am simultaneously sharing updates with you all here on Patreon as well as everyone who pre-ordered the course coming out soon!

So included in this post, is the full resolution .procreate file for this blinking animation for the course illustration! I hope you learn something from it even as it is now and enjoy!

So as far as updates go, yes animation is definitely something that will be covered in detail in the course. The only part of Procreate that I am completely ignoring is the 3d component. 

As I have matured as an artist and taken time to discover myself in 2023, I have developed an intense passion for VFX. So not only do I love to illustrate, but I want to see my paintings MOVE. BREATHE. I just love making really cool things that have layers of detail and meaning.  

I feel like I have finally crossed over to becoming a "true" artist if that makes any sense. I understand my purpose as an artist, and how to navigate the ebbs and flows. How to know when something is finished, how to unlock the creative potential in my mind for endless ideas and concepts. These are things that I will share in the course as well.

Now for a big one - the course will be something of a longterm passion project for me. It will continue to increase in value as time goes on. I plan to continue to create and share everything that I learn in easy to follow and understand project videos. 

So in the future, expect more tutorials not only in Procreate, but Procreate Dreams, Davinchi Resolve, Photoshop, After Effects, and possibly more!

I want to equip people with high level educational content that I create as I learn and explore myself. Thats the goal, thats the dream. I find myself hyped up and looking back at past loves like Akira, Ghost in the Shell, etc. Listening to the music. Learning about the writers and animators. It's really an exciting journey once you begin to understand yourself as an artist. You start to see art and other people's work and experiences in a completely new way. 

But yeah before this becomes my diary, that will be it for now! I need to perfect the eyelashes and get on with a few more tweaks to really make the big unveil shine.
