This was a great episode. Here’s my response to your New York takes, which I agree with for the most part. Think of New York City specifically Manhattan as the most populated and busy section of LA (city not county) and then you have the boroughs and parts of NY state and North Jersey that make up the surroundings but are part of the ecosystem. Because it’s so much smaller and tightly compacted here it is more equivalent to LA county and the greater Los Angelas area
