Bonds is the absolute goat and should be in the HoF. dudes admitted to popping greenies and all that shit before it was tested for and they eventually got in. he did roids before they were legitimately against the rules (a ban without testing protocols isn’t a ban) and as far as anyone knows stopped once they were tested for. he never tested positive and was never suspended for PEDs. literally no reason to keep him out, he never broke any of MLB’s rules regarded PEDs or substances of abuse. unless you’re an old, unfun, mald (mad + bald) white man there’s literally no argument. I say unfun and mald because plenty of old white dudes recognize Bonds’ greatness, it’s just the stodgy voters who don’t. it’s definitely a little racism but it’s largely (imo) just old cranky ass media dudes who feel like they finally have one over on the greatest fucking hitter of all time cause he was a little mean to them. dude had a season where he got on base 60% of his PAs, from ages 36-39 he was getting on base over 55% of the time. that’s god mode shit, guys today are still jacking 50 home runs in a season and nobody’s ever come close to that

also 1. Iverson 2. Wade 3. LeBron 4. Duncan 5. Shaq 6. Kareem 7. CPIII 8. KD (young KD could fill in at the 2 if needed) 9. Kawhi IR Steph IR Jordan I think you could build a comparable team around Jordan and he’s too good to leave out entirely but I really don’t know if the team would function with him playing alongside Iverson and I think you take away a lot of what makes LeBron special if you don’t let him basically run the offense which Jordan also might dislike. I’m not as Basketball Knowledgeable though so I could be wrong
