Also....SURPRISE again! (Patreon)

We have an extra reason it’s been a quiet few days on Patreon - we have had our first two pups of the season! They’re both now 15 days old and came to us at 10 days.

Please welcome a little boy, who is a platinum, just like Malachi. He has damage to his front right paw and his tail. We won’t know until he is bigger if any kind of amputation will be necessary for his tail; we’ll share pictures of his injuries in the coming days.

Please also welcome a little sapphire female - just like Mouse was - and we also think, based on her overall condition and the fact she was the runt of the litter, that she may be suffering from Chediak Higashi syndrome too. We won’t be able to confirm until she is a little older, but we’re hopeful that with us having caught it right at the beginning of her life and knowing the stem cell treatment does work, that she will be well and hopefully will stay with us at least as long as we were blessed with our beloved Mighty Mouse.

These two have kept Mikayla and I sleepless and firmly on our toes and absolutely hold the title for most challenging pups; so much so, we drove two hours each way to visit a friend of the rescue to help us with tube feeding and to refresh our knowledge on SubQ fluids, to ensure they got the absolute best care and most possible we could do for them.

We spent last night and most of today very, very worried, but, whilst they are not out of the woods yet, things are definitely looking brighter for these babies.

It’s safe to say we love them so very much already!
