Here’s a wonderful pic of Jameson and his mum Cassie which she sent me this morning. As you may remember, Jameson came to us, originally as a surrender from the county where he was found, but just before his arrival, he had been being cared for by Cassie and they had fallen head over heels for each other, so, whilst she waited for her license to be updated to include him on a permanent basis (she is a licensed rehabber in Iowa and was asked by the state DNR to care for Jameson after his confiscation), instead of a surrender he was boarded with us and as soon as the license came through we got him home to her as soon as we could.

He was such a pleasure to care for and when Cassie came to collect him, we could see instantly the bond they had. She and I spoke almost every day whilst Jameson was with us so she knew how he was doing.

During the cold snap, a fortnight ago, Jameson became an inside fox! He wasn’t sure at first but soon really loved getting even more attention than normal and being extra spoiled 💕

We so love getting to stay in touch with foxes who leave us, especially those that we have an extra special connection with. If you’d like to see more of Jameson at home, you can follow his adventures, along with his crow brother, on Instagram!

I too love that you stay connected with the foxes whom have gone to forever homes. So happy to see Jameson again...and to see that he is obviously loved and very connected with his foxmom🧡🦊
