Today mink Xander and Phoebe (Atlas’ mum and dad) left for their new home in California at an education centre!

We’re going to miss them but it’s wonderful to see them go to their forever home - they were rescued from the fur farm as babies and have been here since they were a few weeks old.

Please join us in wishing them a safe journey and an amazing life in their forever home! ❤️

I truly hope and pray that the 2 of them are going to a great home. I just can't understand how people can skin animals just for their fur. That is so cruel and inhumane. I would never want a job like that to murder animals for either their skin or fur. I know I will never own or wear a fur coat. Not in this lifetime.

Spot on, Oran! You wonder what the nature of a person can be who could do that under any circumstance, either for money or sport. Not someone I want to know. On the good side from the reply to my question above, I take it that more people are becoming aware of SaveAFox and the wonderful animals available for adoption. I know that adopters are carefully screened to ensure they will provide good homes. Xander and Phoebe look adorable! I love my dog, Millie, and she is up in years. Part of me thinks that I will not have another pet in the future. There are practical reasons why it would not make sense. The other part says I will be very lonely and need a four-legged companion. There are so many that need homes and someone devoted to their well-being. In the meantime, I enjoy my bugle/beagle lots! Presently, I have an earache and she is having trouble hearing! We are so compatible that it is spooky!
