Nyx update! (Patreon)

Nyx did did really well at the vet. There was a large infection, all the way to the ear base, but they think the ear can be saved. It was stitched, except for drainage and was debreeded and lavaged (flushed). We have antibiotics, pain meds and a wash for her ear. She recovered well from the sedation and is eating, drinking and taking her meds like a champ so far.

She’s shy and a little grumbly, but she’s much more comfortable today and is pain free.

She’ll go back to the vet in a week or so for a check up and further assessment of the salvage-ability of her ear.
