Hey everyone! Kaytee here with a new fox we had surrendered today in Minnesota!

This handsome young man was found roaming around a small town up north and was brought to a wildlife rehabilitation center. While they noticed due to his champagne color he wasn't a wild fox, they still helped treat him immediately.

We're not sure what happened to him but when he was brought in he had a broken leg that needed some surgery and a splint. The team there took excellent care of him and searched for his owner throughout the process. He is not microchipped and no one claimed him so they called us!

He's in a temporary kennel while he recovers, he still has a few weeks left in his cast before it can come off.

We don't have a name for him yet but one of our amazing volunteers said he looked like a lion, so for the time being we've nicknamed him Simba. We'll continue to post updates about him throughout his recovery. 🥰
