Big Day for us at SAF South! (Patreon)

We have been waiting a long time for this moment, but it’s finally here! We have been able to reunite Momo with his family group that he arrived from the fur farm with. He has been away from them since the beginning of January due to his trip to the emergency hospital and his issues with seizures. He’s been alone in quarantine since then because we also needed to have him neutered (originally gendered as a female, so he was never neutered) before joining the group again. The surgery was risky due to the seizures, but we’ve been successful with all of our efforts to keep him healthy and strong.

The reunion is not as warm and fuzzy as we’d like, but they are not completely rejecting him, so they just need time each day to work out the new hierarchy. Roo is the main fox who’s not a happy boy about all of this, but he will get there. Momo gets plenty of breaks alone to relax, including all night. Once they work things out, I’m sure there will be lots of zooming together again!
