Supporting Special Forces medal upgrades (Patreon)

In December 2020, our team was asked to help support Colonel Paris Davis in the campaign to have his Silver Star upgraded to the Medal of Honor. 

Our artist team (Dugong, PapaBear and Whiplash) stepped up and together we recreated the battle of Bong Son from eyewitness accounts, affadavits and through interviews with Colonel Davis himself.  We carried this work out entirely for free. It was our honor.

The official US Army page above details the award, and you can see "the battle narrative" there which includes our team images. Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller described the battle recreation images as "a paradigm altering contribution" in a letter sent to the team on 19 January 2021. He told us in person that the images really helped make a difference in the campaign.

In March 2023 we attended the White House and later the Pentagon to see Colonel Davis receive his long overdue Medal of Honor, and to be inducted into the Pentagon Hall of Heroes, where he belonged all these years. We wish him and his family all the best for their new future, now he has the recognition he never sought, but so richly deserved.

We have since worked on one more undisclosed MOH upgrade project, and hope to assist with more.
