Hi all! I'll be streaming this week as usual in the discord server all 5$ subscribers have access to, but it'll be a little later in the day than usual. I'm trying to find a time that works for everyone, but haven't got much feedback so I'm experimenting. Come give me someone to talk to while I work. So it will be 12AM EST, 5AM UTC.

This week we begin her hands. This is one of the final steps on the high poly model. After her hands, I need to make the scrimshaw carvings on her body panels, go through the decimation process and then bake textures. The textures are going to be interesting, as I think I'm going to have to composite a lot of things together to get some of her open bits to look right, but I have an idea for how to do it. It's just gonna mean lots of extra baking.

We're so close though. I can't wait to see this in VAM. Again, the final VAM version will just be all this detail transferred onto a bunch of textures that will do their best to fake all that extra geometry in VAM, while it all really being a flat surface, just like with the berserker body. This just has a lot more holes that open up into lots of mechanical gizmos, which is a bit harder to portray with just a normal map. We're gonna do it though.
