I have added a difficulty setting yesterday, after much thinking I have decided the best way to do it would be to include said option at the beginning of the game rather than being able to switch it back and forth from the settings, that is because a few things tied to the rewards rely on the difficulty and changing them mid game might lead to some weird issues.

You can choose between two difficulties: Hard and Normal.
The hard difficulty gives you the following advantages: +10% item drop rate, 8% stronger level up, and some achievements (this part is not done as there is no achievement system yet).
The disadvantages are: Liaris Freese will reward you with *3 Excelia instead of *12, and monsters will have a luck bonus to hit you... Their power stays the same though.

I had also considered the following advantages/disadvantages, but after reading your feedback, I decided to scrap them:
+SSS Caps at 1500, 1200 for normal.
-In higher difficulty you will be unable to quickly exit the dungeon in the middle floors, but you can still buy a teleport grimoire.
-Your companions get 0.75 times excelia rather than 1.0.

Since I know some of you will replay the game only to enable a harder difficulty (Whose variables can be finetuned through the console by the way, should you not find the game hard enough), I thought this would be the perfect occasion to redo some of the older backgrounds, CGs and also some of the older sprites. I will also rewrite part of the intro.
Just earlier today I finished redoing the Minotaur sprite, and added a new CG during the intro.

I am currently redoing Hephaestus' sprite (The white shirt one) so her face will look more like her newer red dress sprite. I will slightly change the clothing as well, although I will refrain from having her long gloves going over her sleeves as that is something I do not like about her clothing. I should be done with that (+ playtesting) today!

WarLord Vs ManTop

Do you plan on implanting a mechanics to skip enemy turn they are so slow if I encounter so many enemies, it's just so slow.

winterfire

No, the AI turns advance rather quickly already, and having them skip entirely would make the combat pointless. Instead, you can consider purchasing a Morbul from the Market and use it once you enter the dungeon to keep the monsters away.

Ditto

Or bombs once they are working. Then when more AoE attacks become available it's another way to clear them out quickly. Right now if you want to skip large numbers of mobs either Morbul or Earth magic. If the ground is a rockin well everything that isn't flying is getting boned lol
