How many fewer criminals would there be if selfish, greedy men weren't able to exploit poor, desperate people?

What better way to start the weekend than with a guide on Horse Thieving.

Ned would be so happy to hear you ask that. He put it this way: "If my lips teach the public that men are made mad by bad treatment, and if the police are taught that they may exasperate to madness men they persecute and ill treat, my life will not be entirely thrown away."

A lot of his friends did describe him as very patient, but once he snaps, hoo boy. He really snaps. (And one of those friends from his do-gooding days was so disappointed in him that he disavowed Ned and told him never to speak to him again.)

You can almost feel the frustration and anger Ned must have felt in that situation. It reminds me of a story of a man who tried forging money because he was too proud to go on welfare (don't know how true it is tho) I wonder what Ned would have been like if he'd gone into politics? xD

I'm sorry, but this is too depressing. I went through about 30 years of clinical depression, and for health reasons, I have to stick to happy, fun stuff. I know this is real, and it's why I hate and distrust God.
