Make my Fortnite a Grande - Retrospective on Arianna Grande Concert - Extra Credits Off the Cuff

Wanna watch without ads and see exclusive content? Go to https://curiositystream.com/?coupon=extracredits to get a full year of Curiosity Stream & Nebula for 26% off Ariana Grande's concert in Fortnite might not been the first of its kind, but it was the first that made Matt feel the way he did. And sometimes making a polished script is a little too long to catch the fleeting feeling. So let's go a little off-script and talk about the concert, what made it work, and where it might be going in the future. ___________ Support the people who make this show, vote for future Extra History topics and get great perks at our Patreon! http://bit.ly/EHPatreon Subscribe & ! to our channel on YouTube at http://bit.ly/SubToEC Got more info about Extra Credits on our website at http://extracredits.site/ Grab your Extra Credits gear at the store! http://extracredits.store/ Watch this episode ad-free at https://watchnebula.com/extracredits ___________ Thanks for participating in this week's discussion! I think it worked pretty well. You should do it again.

Disclosure: researcher by nature, so partial to expansive deep dives. But. Because this episode was so much about the experience of a thing - less about the structure and design, and more about impact - a less structured approach works well here. There is certainly a space for it, and the occasional one here and there could be interesting.

Matt, I loved it. The rambling element (which didn't take over) felt like any one of my favorite podcasts, only tor this one, I had visuals, wonderful visuals. I'm with you, about not being up on music (only the funny stuff, for me, for health reasons), and I know I wouldn't enjoy playing Fortnight. It can be fun to watch, so long as I look away from the kills. Thanks for taking a chance with this. :)

I really enjoyed this format, and would be happy to see it return every now and then. :)
