Saint George and the Dragon - Into the Maw of Danger - Extra Mythology

Once there was a land beset by a dragon. The dragon breathed noxious fumes that poisoned the water and the countryside. To try and appease the dragon, the city paid it tribute in the form of farm animals, but those quickly ran out. They were left with no choice but to sacrifice village members to the dragon. But along came a mythic knight named George with a crazy idea: What if we killed the dragon instead? Thank you for this episode. Really needed something inspiring today.

Sientir

Was this dragon perhaps named Sinh? Feels like the inspiration for the Crown of the Sunken King DLC for Dark Souls II!

So, this inept George stumbles onto a place, gets saved by a princess, said princess renders the creature innocuous, he still kills it and steals all the credit? Well done George, well done :-/

The belt rapped around it's neck and it became tame!? Hax! I call Hax!

Daikaiju

I should point out; she was ready to roll over and die, like the villagers, until George stepped in. She wouldn't have been able to save him, if he hadn't freed her. Also, he did tell her to throw the belt. Admittedly, it was a team effort in the end and she should get equal billing.

Thank you. I never knew that Georgio was a Roman soldier, because the renaissance art I saw in books portrayed him as a contemporary to the artist.
