In the closest vote we've seen since Extra History began, Admiral Yi edged out the Ottoman Empire to become a future topic for the show! This series will likely air in August or September, after Justinian and the First Crusades.

To anybody who is already a patron (because monthly fees are out of what I can afford); please suggest the Mexican Revolutionary War. This is a subject in desperate need of more attention as there are a lot of mythical figures that bear much influence in today's society and a lot of U.S. involvement that is overlooked that has shaped Mexico's relationship with America and as a country as a whole. There are a lot of interesting things that come from this important part of history that is not taught in U.S. schools despite Mexico and America's history being part of the same. Thanks!

NOOOO!!!! The Ottoman Empire DX T_T But if I had to pick another one, I would have picked Admiral Yi's story. That dude was a badass!!!! Can't wait of it.
