+1 for the Sonnet of Succession

Why has this come a Day Earlier than it usually does?

ExtraCredits

Actually the last several EH episodes have been posted here a couple days early. 1) because we have Quantum Computing going on right now too, and I didn't want them to clash too much with each other! 2) because we have the videos ready earlier and it occurred to me, why not post them earlier then? Ever since we've been working with Matt as our full-time showrunner we don't have as many last-minute uploads so we actually are starting to have the videos ready to show to patrons much earlier too! :)

okay serious question for EC: who are the characters at 3:43? Is it Philip J. Fry? Why are they in every episode? I'm not mad or anything, just curious and a bit confused.

ExtraCredits

Yes, it looks like it's Fry and Leela from the Futurama TV series! (I'm going to guess it's Leela even though she has 2 eyes here.) I know the artists like to draw fun things in their series to make it entertaining for them (and for us viewers as well hopefully!)--this is Ali's first series with us and I imagine she is figuring out what kind of style/humor she wants to use in these videos. Nick likes to sneak in jokes about famous wrestlers into his episodes. Sometimes the visual gags range from obvious or even obnoxious, to so subtle that only a few folks will catch it at all. But the artists always inject at least a little bit of their personality/interests into our videos :)

I love the song.

I gotta say stellar job Matt, I voted on this back when I thought Dan was going to have to handle all this pronunciation but you've taken it in stride and I love it. Keep being awesome!

I remember something my paternal Grandfather did, well before he died, that might have spared many kingdoms from conflict between heirs. Grandad invited us all to his home, and let his two sons, my Dad and Uncle Baxter, take turns picking things around the house, that would be theirs, after he died. And each round, one of the rest of us got to pick something small. Everyone seemed content with this. I was happy to be included, and to get a few things that would remind me of Grandad. Kingdoms could be divided up through negotiation, perhaps with contentious areas being designated independent buffer zones, with none of the heirs able to lord these zones over the others. At least the results wouldn't be as bad as with leaving a will, dividing things up by the late ruler's best guesses.
