The Armistice Terms Dictated by Foch were Severe ~ Germany was to Evacuate all Lands it Occupied, Including Alsace-Lorraine which had been Part of the German Empire since 1870, they are to Hand over Prisoners of War, 5,000 Artillery Pieces, 25,000 Machine Guns and 5,000 Aeroplanes, and, Above all, not only would the Crippling Naval Blockade of Germany by the Allies would Continue, but Germany was Forced to Accept Sole Responsibility for the Outbreak of the War. The Terms of the Cease-Fire were Telegraphed Back to Berlin by Ertzberger, Uncoded, so that the Allies could Read them. The Reply was to Accept any Terms because the Situation for the Germans was so Hopeless ~ the German Navy in Kiel had Mutinied, and the half ~ Starved Civilian Population had Turned against the Army, leaving the Army with the Unenviable Task of Fighting the Allies on One Front and, on the other, its Own People. With no other Choice, at 5:12 AM, the Two Sides Signed, Bringing to an End the First World War.

I know I was rather critical of Matt's voiceover when he first started, so I just wanted to let you know that, at least to my ears, the quality has greatly improved over the course of this series. Going back and comparing with #1 in the Flu videos, I can hear the difference. I'm glad that you've found your feet here, so to speak, and hope you stick around for a long time to come. :)
