While all this was going on an Event of Global Importance was about to take Place: French Troops on the Front Lines near the Village of Rethondes Awoke to an Extraordinary Sight: Five German Cars, Bearing White Flags, Emerged from the Mist. Inside the Cars was a Peace Envoy, Led by Matthias Ertzberger, a Member of the Catholic Centre Party, as the German Government felt he, a Civilian, would be more Acceptable to the Allies than a Prussian Officer. The Germans were Escorted to a Train, which took them into the Forests at Compiegne, where, waiting for them, was the Personal Train of the Allied Supreme Commander, Marshal Ferdinand Foch. Foch was in no Mood for Compromise ~ just that Day he had lost his Son in Battle . The First Words out of his Mouth were, "What do you want from me?" Ertzberger Replied, "We are here to Negotiate an Armistice," and Foch then Announced, "There will be no Negotiation. You are here to Receive Terms from me."

Sees new Patreon post by EC -> comes to see new video -> no video -> disappointment.

Did they forget to put up the video?

This also happened with Pellagra. If they decided not to post them on Patreon I don't really mind, but I don't recall a notice. A little warning would've been nice. Moreover, how are we going to get them ahead of the public posting?

On the pellagra video, it was a Patreon glitch. The post was later fixed.

Tiberia Prima

The video didn't get posted again, is this a Patreon bug or something? :S

As others have stated: No video!

ExtraCredits

This is definitely a patreon glitch, I've been scheduling these video posts exactly as I've always been. --Belinda (fixed now)

Such a rough era for medicine... doctors and their professions are emerging from the days of guessing, superstition, and outright quackery, but the public hasn’t kept up.

I have to ask, but why is this mostly centred on America? I thought the 1918 pandemic was a global outbreak.

The children chanting about the flu is definitely a nice creepy touch.

Anonymous

The sad thing to me is, that this killed more people than the war, and yet, is often treated like a historical footnote.

Anonymous

So... the sad thing is not the millions of victims but the fact that it does get regognition?

The bird Enza really reminds me of Pathologic. Creepiest plague depiction in a game ever.

I opened up the window... and IN FLEW ENZA!!!!!
