We would like to formally wish a happy farewell to some wonderful folks who have helped make Extra History awesome over the last few years: our musicians, Sean and Dean Kiner, and one of our artists, Lilienne Chan. (Don't worry, nobody has died!) They each independently wanted to pursue new projects and career opportunities, and we've been lucky and happy to work with them for as long as we have.

Thank you Kiner bros! Thank you Lil!

We wanted to delay formally announcing their departures until we had cartoon "bean" characters ready for some of the new folks who we have already started working with! You'll be seeing some more introductions in the coming months, as we have begun expanding our freelance staff for the channel.

The Kiners' last musical contribution was the theme music for Non-Euclidean Geometry, and they personally helped pick out their replacement. You've already been hearing Tiffany Roman's work in the credits music for the Flu Pandemic series. Meet Tiffany!

Tiffany writes about herself:

"A few things that I like:
Traveling to new places.
Fan of mangoes and all ice cream.
Favorite games: Don't Starve Together, Inside, and Portal 2.
Waking up early to practice the piano keeps me sane."

You can check out her work at http://www.tiffanyromanlouk.com/

Lil's final Extra History episode will air on Saturday (Friday for the patrons!), with Nick DeWitt finishing out the rest of the Flu Pandemic series. Ali R. Thome is our guest artist for the upcoming Majapahit: An Empire of Water series that will air next on Extra History. Hi Ali!

"Hey you, my name is Ali R Thome and I have been a caricature artist and illustrator since 2009. I started learning caricatures at HersheyPark working for Kaman's Art Shoppes, fell in love with the art form, and have been drawing caricatures full time since then.

"I started my career at both Hershey Park and Dorney Park, where they taught me the basics. I was soon given the opportunity to work State Fairs and other Festivals across the US and did that for several years. During that time, I also connected with other Caricaturists around the world through the International Society and Caricature Artists and have won awards in Humor, Collaboration, and top 10 Caricature of the Year at their annual convention of which I was a board member for 2 years. After the travel final started taking its toll, I began promoting myself locally to do events and weddings full time.

"Through Caricatures, I also found my husband, fellow illustrator and caricaturist, Jordan W. Martin. We settled down and started our family in Lebanon, PA. I love meeting new people and traveling to new places and I love that caricatures have allowed me to do just that.

"Sappy happy story over :)"
