Nice! I don't know much about the Byzantine empire but my interest has gone up lately. Hopefully you guys will cover some of the Byzantine military, the legacy of the Roman army.

Are we getting ahead of ourselves? I would have thought that we would do better focusing attention (both viewers and staff) on 1-2 histories. The viewers are excited about the south sea bubble, and the staff about zulu. Wouldn't it have been a better time to do a poll when zulu 1 came out?

HUZZAH! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Theodora ranks as one of my favorite female figures in all of history, right up there with Eleanor of Aquitane (who I feel she would have gotten along with very well...).

Theodora was pretty amazing, she's one of my favorites too! I don't know too much about Eleanor of Aquitaine though, although I'd definitely be interested in learning about her.

We're switching to the one-week schedule during the Zulu series, which means it will go by in a matter of weeks. In order to get all the writing done, all the art made, and finally all the production edits in, we need a pretty big ramp of time to prepare. We're actually going to need another topic this month in order to keep things on track for the future.
