Well gee, we look away for one moment and you all push us up over our $16,000 milestone! That means four episodes of Extra Mythology are coming your way. James is still deciding what he wants the topic to be, but we'll let you know at the end of this week. And please be patient with us... we weren't expecting this quite so soon after the launch of Extra Sci Fi, so it'll take us a bit to clear enough room in the production schedule for these four episodes, but we'll try to keep you updated along the way!

Anonymous

That's amazing news! So many new shows to watch :D

ALITTLECROW

I am a history major. I would love to help contribute to your channel, Espcially for Mythology extra!

Anonymous

It's an honor to be a part of it. Keep up the good work guys!

Will either Extra Sci Fi or Extra Mythology be an ongoing thing on just a one time short series?

JohnnyElRojo

Would you accept suggestions as you do with Extra History, or your possible subjects are already closed and chosen?

James is still deciding what he wants the topic to be, but we'll let you know what it is at the end of this week.

Extra Sci Fi has been announced as an ongoing series but with breaks in between topics "just so we can maintain quality and not die" (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKo7YEKpgXU)." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKo7YEKpgXU).</a> Extra Mythology is a "single, 4-episode run" as stated in the Patreon reward.

Major congrats guys! Love seeing the success of this Patreon.

We do not offer jobs, internships, or volunteer work, beyond captioning and translating videos or the very occasional opportunity for a guest artist slot. It's very cool to see how many viewers are excited to share their diverse talents, but we encourage all our viewers to use these skills to collaborate with others and make their own amazing, creative productions. Seconded, if only to see artists' take on eight-legged horse.

Why don’t you just do them all if you can’t decide? Anyway, if you open for suggestion I want some myth about Japan Guardian Spirit. Nioh, really peak my interested here.

That's awesome. We've been waiting FOREVER to hit the 16K mark, I'm so glad we finally did it. Thanks for keeping the promise (knew you would, but it's still appreciated)

Congrats, this will be amazing.

Tome of Trovius

OOo sweet new series! Going to share them as much as possible You guys do great work!

I sooooooooooooooo Hope it's gonna be the legend of the Buddha!!! [then again he might be more appropriate for Extra History.]

I vote for Celtic mythology, it's vastly underrated.

Anonymous

I am soooo up for this...

Anonymous

my congrats)))

Anonymous

woot. I am very excited for this. Congrats on reaching your goal!

Anonymous

That's awesome! Well done, everyone! And congrats to EC for reaching that elusive goal ;) I'm hoping you cover Celtic mythology in the future, but I'm excited to see what James chooses.

Anonymous

Congratulations! Keep up the good work and have more Extra History EVERYDAY!

The idea of breaking this promise never even occurred to us. :o I hope that's not something that creators do often on Patreon, but regardless, we've been excited about doing this one for a long time!

ExtraCredits

Hmm, I think you and I had a conversation about this topic once. I'm not sure where Buddha's history lies but I do feel like it would be inappropriate of us to call it "mythology." :)

ExtraCredits

Thanks so much! He's been flip-flopping over it all week, but he'll have his decision soon.

deus vult to extra history!

I've been watching Crash Course Mythology but I'm intrigued with which perspective EC takes
