I like Oda Nobunaga's outfit the best. His name seems vaguely familiar. Perhaps there is an anime character named after him?

I can't wait to learn more about Miyamoto Musashi! After he was in the Young Samuari series, I've been wanting to learn more about this duel-wielding master!

I'm curious why Hideyoshi isn't in this shot, but he is associated with Oda so I can understand why.

Looking over the book synopsis, it seems Jack Fletcher is a bit late to become the first gaijin samurai. That title goes to Yasuke - serving under Oda Nobunaga himself - the first foreigner samurai, who was actually an African who came with a group of Jesuits. It is definitely worth reading about him; he was a really cool guy. I know he didn't impact the period much, but I hope he gets a brief mention in the Sengoku Jidai series.
