And now we await, with baited breath, the First Episode of the Bronze Age Collapse. P.S: Brief General Election News Update ~ it's a Hung Parliament! At least we've got that behind us.

This is so fascinating! Thank you so much for making this! I love learning the histories of less well known countries and kingdoms, so this is especially interesting to me.

I got to ask; isn't 'western' for Hawaii is Pacific sea and china? Shouldn't it be eastern that they trade with?

Anonymous

The East and the West are not relative to an individual country's location, they are global terms

Really who's fault is it that the Hawaiian Empire collapsed? The people who create the power vacuum or the ones who step into it?

ExtraCredits

We didn't do that on purpose, but we did realize it once we saw what days the episodes were coming out! Totally happy about that.

This is the end of the Kamehameha story! Next up: Articles of Confederation Lies, followed by the Bronze Age Collapse.

Aww, thank you for sharing that with us! It really makes us happy to hear that we did a good job.

I mean, he made a volcano erupt and consume his enemies - I feel like he's already proved himself. ;)

Thank you all for this overview of a key period in Hawaii's history. You show Kamehameha wasn't perfect, but was still great. I look forward to the "Lies" episode, when you talk about all the other people who helped him. I think it's an important lesson that "great people" have a lot of help, and are largely great by inspiring others to help them.
