Patreon (as required by law) needs to implement sales tax requirements. I just wanted to let you know so there's no surprises ; )

But this won't affect you much! Here's why…

Tax laws vary by place. If you reside in U.S., and (for example) your $5 pledge is taxed, the most you'd have to pay is an additional 55 cents. However, that's even if you get taxed. Generally speaking, half of Patreon's patrons won't get taxed at all (it depends on the benefits they're receiving from their pledge).
