The first episode's name and the last episode's name combine to make an Asian Kung Fu Generation song (Rolling Boulder, Morning Light Falls On You). The bit about finding Bocchi is a reference to a Japanese show about nature (called Darwin something, can't remember). Bocchi wearing those black straps is a reference to a crazy music video called Hot Limit.Bocchi does have the biggest bust (probably because the mangaka wanted to rack up more readers). If you pay attention to the username for TikTok(?), it's Ryo's so she wanted to keep all the money for herself. Bocchi's dad is definitely a former major band member, because that's a Gibson Les Paul Custom. The date on the truck in Bocchi's delusion, June 9th (6. 9.) is Rock Day in Japan (Ro-ku). He's charges to fix Hitori's Les Paul would be less than that custom Yamaha, LOL. . But, in the long run, that Les Paul Custom was her Dad's guitar. Not hers. There's an alchemy to guitars that are just right when the right guitar finds the right player. That's my take away from Hitori's purchase. Also, you ALWAYS take two axes to a gig, just in case a string breaks or something crashes So glad they mentioned that. Bocchi the Rock was an absolute EXCELLENT series about growing into your potential. It just captured that wild magic of just BEING. As you often say, Tee, Being Is Good. I adore all these goofball, everything turned up to 11, characters, and I will readily admit I had a happy tear when Kita corrected herself when she started "Gotoh-san" and corrected herself to use Hitori's first name. Also, Kita was the ONLY character, outside her family, to never call Hitori, "Bocchi". She had to grow into from "Who is this girl?" to "I admire this girl." to "I am her close friend!" There are so many hyperbolic words you can say about Bocchi The Rock, "magical", "amazing", "touching", "perfect", and they're all true. I love this show.
